Hey Tankers!

 

Playing with some of the old Transformers toys we have sitting around on our desks, an idea came to mind. What would some of our most popular tanks look like if they were transformed into a more robot/human form? If you remember Brawl from the original Transformers, he would transform into a Leopard 1A3. We would like to see what you think other tanks would look like.

 

Here is an example drawn by community member FateNero.

 

Prizes:

    1st place: 3,000 Gold + 2 Weeks Premium Time

    2nd place: 2,000 Gold + 2 Weeks Premium Time

    3rd place: 1,000 Gold + 2 Weeks Premium Time

    4th place: 2 Weeks Premium

    5th place: 1 Week Premium

   

 

 

Rules:

• All players are welcome to join the contest but each player can submit only one entry. You can choose between digital or hand drawn.
• The creation must be designed exclusively for this contest.
• Entries will be judged on creativity, quality, complexity, etc.
• Image requirements: format —JPEG, PNG, or GIF; resolution — between 800x600 and 1024x768 pixels; size — up to 700 KB.
• The image must comply with the moral, ethical, and legal standards, as well as with the Forum rules.
• Wargaming gains exclusive rights to the contest image when you post it on the forum, as outlined in the “10. User Generated Content” section of the Terms of Service. 

 

The submission deadline is Tuesday, September 8th at 06:00 PST (September 8th 13:00 UTC)

Do they have to look directly like robots, or can it be like a mecha person thingimajiggy, human with like tank armour sorta stuff.

Oh and, does it have to look like the good Transformers, or the Michael Bay nonsense.

I'm pretty sure someones hand would give out before being able to finish one of Bay's abominations.

These must be in the style of the Transformers. They have to be all machine.

Considering that I like to nickname tanks after Transformers, this will be fun to draw a tank in robot form.

The master of assination and the ultimate form of the batchat. He strikes in the cover of night and swiftly retreats yet again to hunt down his next target.  During the day he is never seen always hiding and waiting to strike when the time is right.  Fast and agile he makes his kills before the enemy have even noticed they're are one tank down.  Slowly he picks off his targets until there is nothing left but a pile of dead corpses by sun rise.  Be aware you might be his next target and always be on your guard.

My entry. A KV2 tenkformer. Ze German tankformers managed to land a lucky shot on his track destroying it. Horrified and confused as to the loss of his track, he ripped the other off and ran off into the hills waving it and his log wildly. German tankformers are now terrified of going too far from the roads, as they have heard horror stories of tankformers returning from recon missions with track whipped bottoms and the imprint of a log on their cold metal faces.

Yes finally done it. Had so many troubles trying to post this thing. First it was too large to post. My iPad wouldn't let me compress it. I had to email myself to make it smaller, then it still didn't work. Still won't let me put it inside one of the spoilers. Oh well it's done now.

You know, I probably shouldn't say this cause I hope to find the time to enter this contest as well, but why not put colour on it? it may improve your chances of winning, depending on how well the colouring is done of course. Or if you feel like you may ruin it, just copy it the best you can in another sheet and colour that one and see which one you like better. Just a suggestion, g'luck!
