Dear WG,

Would it be possible to get at least one of the following buffs for the Sturer Emil: Increased camo factor, increased speed/mobility, or x3 armor on the front of the Sturer Emil. I really think the Sturer Emil could use at least one of these three buffs. As it currently stands it is destroyed by nearly any tank in 1-3 shots and within the first three minutes. Whenever I use this tank I earn an average of 400 experience whether it wins or loses and I rarely get to actually make a difference for my team, actually I consider the Sturer Emil to be a hindrance to a team rather than an asset. It is spotted and destroyed before it even gets a chance to fight no matter where it happens to be and I really get disappointed using this tank when I get killed after only firing one or two shots. I think if it got at least one of the suggested buffs it would be much more enjoyable and it would make it much easier to earn the Rhm Borsig Waffenträger, as most players just buy or free xp their way past the Sturer Emil due to its bad reputation as an easily destroyed tank and generally frustrating.

Just give it the better camo, if it needs a buff.

Armour is set in stone, as is pretty much the engine.

It's not that bad just takes a while to get used to a slow hard hitting TD.

I am by no means a great player and I did this with that tank in 100 games.

I did not free xp and it was prior to me reading the forums in order to learn to play better.

I have found that any vehicle (except maybe the the DW2) can play well if used correctly.

Keep at it, it will get easier once you adjust to its strengths

  • Vehicles Destroyed 82
  • Experience 62.79k
  • Maximum Experience per Battle 2.23k
  • Hit Ratio 67.88%
  • Damage Caused 86.31k
  • Kill/Death Ratio 1.41
  • Damage Caused/Received 1.54
  • Average Vehicles Destroyed per Battle 0.82
  • Average Damage Caused per Battle 863

P.S. I also got a Ranger medal in this tank. Funniest thing. All 3 lights ran in front of me one by one :justwait:

Even with a Buff, I bet the Sturer Emil will still be a piece of crap. Along with every other tank before it.

Camo buff would be what it needs, giving it totally non-historical armour or speed would be the wrong way to go about it.

When it can stay at a distance or behind a ridge it can be deadly, better camo would only make it better.

The whole point of the glass canon is to have crap armor and a great gun.

Work through it, the Borsig is worth it.

I like it. I haven't played much with it because I bought it on sale. It's not as awful as some may think. I hate non-turreted td's but the gun depression absolutely saves this thing from being terrible for me.

When I first started playing it, I hated it. By the end of the grind I had accepted its strengths and weaknesses. The gun depression was great and I always tried to find a hill or ridge line to work from. But it's like the rest of the line, once spotted you will be the focus of everybody's fire.  Try not to stray too far from cover when possible.

Churchill armor was set in stone when this game first came out and they buffed the armor for the churchills. So why can't the Sturer Emil get a total of 150mm of armor on the front? With that armor it would actually have a chance of bouncing shots other than off the barrel of the gun.

I like it...the only thing I hate about it is the engine...

Some of my best stats are in this tank, so no I don't think it needs a buff:)
