There seems to be some Input lag on the one, turn left or right and the tank responds a second or so later.
Even Chuck Norris runs away from the T95

Hello Tankers,

The input lag that you speak of is present on all 3 platforms. This is expected for forward/backward/left/right movement of the tank, as that movement input is sent to and from the server (where that action takes place). On the other hand, the camera is local to your console, which is why the response time when moving the camera seems more instantaneous. This is also why you are able to move your camera during server disconnections, but your tank is stuck in place. We've tried this out on our side, and the input delay seems to be a good deal shorter than a whole second, but we do understand the concern. The devs are aware of this, and are looking into it.

Thanks for posting.

If there's anything that can be done to reduce this response time I think that should be really high on the priority list. Would make gameplay much more satisfying.

You might want to play with your controller plugged in and not wireless. I started doing this about a year and a half ago and took that problem away! Hope this helps you folks.;)
I'd rather win ugly than loose looking pretty!!!

Or keep batteries on hand and change out when controller power is half.
You can wish in one hand and crap in the other. See which fills up first. :playing:

It's been 9 months now and this is still the biggest issue with the game, fix ETA?

After you finish doing the important things like adding dirt to tracks could you please take a quick look at this minor issue where everyone is on a one second delay? Thanks.

Hi @WGCB could you please clarify who experiences this lag and to what degree? I am on 360 and experience almost a one second delay, someone on X1 has told me they get the exact same amount of delay but others say they don't. Do some people genuinely get this issue to a lesser degree?

I really can't get a word in edge-wise with you lot responding so quickly, very impressed! I've never seen a company only take 9+ months to address an issue before (technically over two years), keep doing what you're doing! :great:

I might quit the console version because of the long list of unaddressed issues with it

But why? You get console exclusive dirt on your tracks! As a WG moderator I can say with certainty that all the PC forum talk about is how they're jealous of our track dirt and balance and totally didn't make that up! :)
