Attention everyone! I have created this thread for us all to come up with new ideas for maps, and hopefully WG will take a few onboard. What I'm looking for here is a name, a brief description, and a picture. For the picture, it would ideally be a map. You can make a map by using a real map (if yours is based off a real place), you can draw it yourself, or you can stitch together parts of existing WoT maps. Your map can be based on a real place, a battle, or completely made up. Mine will be up later. Have fun!

Siege of Bastogne

BATTLE OF THE BULGE!

Has to be. Nothing needs to made up either, Noville would provide an excellent base location for a map and was a historical armor vs. armor confrontation point during the Bastogne defense.

Rome?

A tank battle by the Colosseum might be fun.

Great topic, hope WG take some of these suggestions into account! +1 :great:

Personally, the Salisbury Plains would make a good British map. Featuring the wrecks of tanks used for targets, traditional British villages and Stonehenge. The map would be sort of like Prokhorvoka but with more options for close quarters combat for the heavies in the village section.

I've thought about this recently after watching Nazi Megastructures on the telly box. I'd quite like to see maps from when the Allies were pushing through France and Germany and they came across the factories where the V1 and V2 rockets were built or the factories where they built the Tigers and other tanks. I'd also like to see a Russian factory one where the T-34's rolled out straight into battle.

With Fallout 4 right around the corner, maybe WG could do a post-apocalyptic wasteland type map?

Have the Green tanks launched from off shore ships with The King of The Hill as a MM option.

Okay, here is my idea.

The Battle of Flers-Courcelette

This was a battle fought during WW1, around the village of Courcelette in northern France. The battle was significant as it was the first use of tanks in combat.

Map

You'll have to imagine the above map, but with all the buildings destroyed, no trees, no grass and the surrounding fields turned into mud, with trenches and artillery guns around the village.
