It's been a busy week work wise and so no tanking. I'd made a note to log on this morning to buy the BT-SV and had checked that it was available until the 2nd.

I just like strange rare(ish) Premium tanks and wanted the 1 mill silver to equip my shiny new Comet properly.  So in quivering anticipation I just logged on to buy it but lo and behold it had gone.

So I went to check the site and the offer stopped at 2..01 ET. Quick check here in BST and it's 5.07 ET.

So the morale of the story is 'don't get screwed by ET'. :)

And WG if you are reading this, you have a customer right here right now wanting to give you some cash so whenever you feel the time is right to offer the bundle again, the cash is yours, but I fully understand why that will not be for a while . :)

I particularly like the idea of driving a highly armoured motorised bathtub that has difficulty turning corners. I imagine on Dragon Ridge the results would be hilarious. 'I'm trying to turn, I'm trying to turn., I'm trying to.....aaaaargh'. :D

And please feel free to share your funny BT-SV stories here to make me envious. :)

I don't know that they'd do it, but assuming you have the gold you could submit a ticket and explain your situation.

Yeah, submit a ticket. It's not like you missed it by five days, it was closer to five minutes. That being said, I too, am very busy with work throughout the week, but I make some time to log in and buy my premiums the day before the sale ends at the latest. It seems to work in voiding any hassle(s).

Ugh. I can't get the gun on the damn thing to come on target. It has to have the worst up/down left/right range of any tank gun in the game (really just the up/down)! Fun to drive around though.

It's not a good tank. Rare maybe but that's about it. It goes fast until it's time to turn. I don't know why people think this thing is any good. It's armor doesn't bounce anything even though it's sloped. There are better tier 3 tanks to spend your money on. T-127 is one of them, even though it's the same gun. And Locust will run circles around this thing.

BTSV isnt worth buying buddy. Its nerfed down from the pc version. It turns almost as slow as a churchill, and barely faster speed in turns. You didnt miss anything, I wish I wouldnt have bothered purchasing that one.

Doesn't seem to have much problems turning, perhaps I'm much too used to the horrible turning on the V/IV.

I'd say while the T-127 has 'better' frontal armour, if an enemy starts penning then you're likely screwed in the 127, whereas the BT-SV at least has speed to bug out, or play differently in say a Tier IV game.

It may not be the best tier III light available, but it is one of the few that can chase down a T67.

Thanks for all the tips guys. I think the comment that worried me a bit is that the PC version has been nerfed. Jingles raves about how much fun it is which is what appealed.

So if you had to give it a fun factor with say the E25  being at a 10 (highest) and something else at a 1 (lowest) where would you put it?

Actually which tank if any would you give a fun factor or 1 (lowest) to?

I'd give this thing about a 4. I wouldn't put any at a 1. The T7 Clown Car is my least favorite premium though...that reload time crushes me.

vk30.01p for me . It only gets a 1 because there isn't a lower option.:(

I didn't see enough of these tanks doing well enough for me to think it was worthwhile getting it. If it's nerfed from the PC version then that explains it.

Premium: M22 Locust, Ram II, T26E4 Super Pershing, T14, Excelsior, T-15, Pz. S35, FCM 50t, FCM 36 Pak 40, Churchill III, Chi-Nu Kai.

"Screwed by ET" put all sorts of dodgy images in my head lol.

If any tank has a fun factor of 1, surely it's the AMX 40?

I really enjoy mine. Sure it turns like a barn and the lack of gun depression coupled with speed and poor accuracy makes for some hilarious misses but being a straight line rocket as well as having a unique look has to be worth something. Great tank? No never expected it to be though. Fun tank? Absolutely.

umm...NO! i had spall liner + controlled impact and i rammed a Pz II J and nearly killed myself :( BT-SV needs more tonnage cause when ramming a 60hp tank with ur 180hp BT SV.... results in nearly dying. it shouldnt be possible. PZ II J is lighter than the BT-SV inst it???

it doesnt bounce a dam thing except miniguns and i rarely see a T-rex and PZ 1 C in tier 3

I bounced enough shots in it from a TD from the front. Can't remember which TD it was...but I was impressed by it.
