Nitpicky tonight?  :P
I know that, I meant the T20.

No and no. Both solid tanks.

One does not simply skips M6. Actually one buys perma camo for it. All four camos.

The T1 has a permanent place in my garage. It sported my first MoE. Love it. M6 is also good but to me needs reining in more. I've played them fully twice during beta and post reset.

Both are good tanks. Skip only if you really want to. I kept my medium and heavy line separate and enjoyed both.

while ago i played them, but i recommend playing them. they are both great tanks, specially the M6 with the 90mm! plus, if you get the 90mm on the M6, you can get it right off the bat on the T29...you do not want to use the 76mm on the T29!

Do both because you want to get the T 29 through the T1 to avoid a horrible grind plus the T1 is awesome

I went from the jumbo sherman to the T29 on pc. Trust me, it was a mistake. With the stock gun you won't be able to do JACK in tier 8 and up games, and barely be useful in tier 7 games.

All three tanks play very similarly.  I would suggest you go down the heavy line to learn how to use them before getting thrown into a tier IX match with a stock T29.

I actually played the T1 heavy after skipping it through the jumbo sherman and finishing the entire line.  I could not stand the T1 heavy.  I never played the M6 I just unlocked it in the tree.  To be honest the reason I hated the T1 is the US 76mm.  The only tank I ever liked in the whole US line that used the m1a 76mm was the tier 5 wolverine.  The accuracy leaves something to be desired in my opinion, but on the wolverine the accuracy is much improved.  But of course if you skip the T1 and go through the jumbo you will have to use the 76 anyway.  That gun just always trolled me on about 8 different tanks.

290+ tanks played haven't caught 'em all yet  539543

Think you are the best at WOT this link might explain why you are so good at this game.

One way you an do it, if you prefer the the Jumbo, is the get to the M6 unlock the 90 then play they Jumbo to unlock the T29.

But as others have said, for that is holy, unlock a 90 first.

I say play the Jumbo even if you're playing through the M6. The Jumbo is a ton of fun, though power creep has made it a little weaker than it used to be.

T1  Heavy in the final package is great, and M6 is a hidden gem, had fun in it. but sold it, needed the silver to get the T29  and as soon as I got it, I took it out and drown it!!  Pay back to all the pain in trying take T29 down with any tier 5 tank I had at that time, and most tier 6 tanks.   :B:hiding: Keep the T1 Heavy have 732 battle in T1 Heavy.

I agree with this.  The M6 is a really good tank at tier 6 and can be effective against tier 7's and 8's.  The old KV-1S was really the only one better (IMO) than this at tier 6.  And even if you end up disagreeing, it is still very much worth getting it to determine that for yourself.

Play through them with the crew you want in your t29.  That way you'll have an extra skill at tier 7.

What if I told you the T1 heavy is better than the KV-1?

T1 Heavy was my first Heavy, first real silver earner, first Radley's - still have it. Great Tank.

I apologize for the length of my post.

I grinded both on my way to the T29.  Man, I sucked with both of them.  I just couldn't do much with them.  Death was my friend with the paper thin sides.  But once I got to the T29, I really enjoyed it.  Looking back, I'm sure even though I sucked with them, they probably taught me some important skills for when i got to the T29.

You don't want to play the T29 stock.
