I'm not totally convinced that your percentage won't go down if it's been more than two weeks since you had a good performance.

It's been at least a month, possibly more, since I played my t29, my perecentage hasn't changed. Same for all the tanks I've got marks on and haven't played. There's no mathematical reason your percentage would go down unless the player base has improved its performance.

It seemed really coincidental that the 15th day after I had a great TOG night my percentage dropped 3 percent without me playing for a day.

The E25 was built for Shenanigans

Your % will increase/decrease everyday as the average damage required will fluctuate.

Example: Lets say your EMA today is 1000 and the requirement is 2000 so you are at 50%. Tomorrow comes along and your EMA is still 1000 as you haven't played any games, but tomorrow's requirement is now 2200. You will now be at 45% . Your EMA isn't being reduced, its the requirement changing.

Max can you pull up my recent statistics MoE? How can i do a game where my percentage goes up to 90.26% but then lowers to 89.95% from doing 3.2K damage in my SU-122-44? that doesnt mke sense, I do 2.4K and my percentage goes up but i just done a 3.2K dmage game and it went down?!!! Do i need to increase my Assisted points or something? Im baffled completely.

I cannot view players MoE stats. Remember that it's your damage and assist damage combined. They are not separate things so you can't judge it by only stating the damage you dealt. You must add both together and compare.

Yeah i know i was being a tit, I had a bad game on Himmelsdorf before hand that dropped my percentage. Getting this MoE is extremely annoying, Ill either get the game where i demolish everything infront of me or ill get the game where im bottom tier and get ruined by E-75's haha

I have a question? Do these marks of excellance mean anything tangable i.e. extra silver earned or exp with the tank that has a MoE or is it just bullsh++ braging rights therefore don't really matter?

I don't think they're tied in with additional xp or silver multipliers. I do use them, however, to assess the competency of my teammates at the beginning of a match. If I am low to mid tier but am surrounded by teammates with barrel bling, I tend to play more aggressively knowing that these tankers are at least > 65% better than the usual randoms. In general, I feel I can trust a random player with barrel markings to do their job...in general. So, I think there is an indirect benefit to MoE's. I only have the first mark on two of my tanks and appreciate how difficult (for me) they are to earn, and for that I think they are a morale booster for the team when you see them at the start of matches.

I got my IS-8 MOE despite it being sold.  One day noticed it in the stats page and said better than 66.something %.  Now it's down to 64%.

Know it's nothing to do with how I'm playing in it as it's not even in my garage :)

You are eligible to earn MoEs in 1-2 games but how EMA's work, it would nearly be impossible. There is no maximum amount of games as you only ever have 1 EMA for your tank. The game you just played gets added to your current EMA to create your new EMA. The EMA is never reset on your tank.

The 14 day thing is the global data used to set the bar for 65%, 85%, and 95% requirements based on the average highest damage. This changes daily as its always based on the last 14 days of data.

Thanks Max, this is gold...

The EMA is NEVER reset on your tank (I originally believed it reset every 2 weeks).

The Highest Average Damage counts the past 14 days only, and is based on ALL players (like a rolling reset, the 15th day rolls off average score),

I believe the only way to see your current score is while in game after receiving your 1 st MoE. Any chance this information will show up under your player stats online?

We are still working on displaying your current position before you earn an MoE.  :honoring:

So when you get the current position of all your tanks MoE worked out then you will be able to see the information online and not just in game?

We are working on displaying the information in-game for tanks that you have not earned MoE on yet so you can see your progress. The web portal has a different dev process so it won't be displayed on there. We'll note the feedback on that part.

I kinda understand.  I don't follow how poor games do less to lower your score than good games do to raise it.

I also don't understand how if you had let's say two epic games back to back, then stopped playing for 13 days (so only those two games are calculating your average), how that wouldn't get you ranked towards the top.

So is there a place you can check what your Damage+asst for each tank, vs EMA of that tank?   So you can track how your doing, where your at.

There is no 14 period involved in calculating your EMA.  It is always simply your EMA +/- your last battle = new EMA.

Any confirmation of the actual formula used? Is it the same as the year old PC one that was posted in one of the posts above or is it different? I didn't spend much time analyzing the actual formula itself since this is a game, not a job, so based off the explanation of the formula posted with it it sounded like they were saying that basically bad games do affect your average as much as good games (the whole 2 good games cancel 1 bad one; 1 bad game cancels 2 good ones part)... so assuming the explanation is accurately portraying how the mathematics works then it sounds like we would have some modified version of it since Max has stated multiple times that bad games don't affect the moving average as much as good games raise it.

Any clarification possible on that Max? And thank you for this. It is a much better explanation than previously was released.
