Wow, that looks much more polished.
Great stuff, thanks so much.
I never worry about MoE's. I have one marked a number of tanks and don't care about getting to three. If I ever get three then sweet, but I'm always happy to get a one Mark when I know I am playing a popular tank for OP's and such.

I've been reading this thread again and I don't think that a bunch of tomatoes will change how difficult it is to earn marks. On the first page of this thread, op gives this example:
"Let’s say the top damage + assist damage for the IS-6 per match is 7000 points of damage. To get the first mark, you need higher than 65% of that, which is 4500. 85% is 5950 and 95% is 6650. Remember it’s the average of damage dealt + assist damage!"
What would appear to make it easier would be fewer good people playing the last 14 days so that the top damage + assist damage is lower.

I think you meant bad players not good players. Bad players lower expectations values good players don't. That's why they're good. Now there will always be more bad players than good players who skew the expectation values for marks. So on holidays, events, or any other time that draws more players than usual marks always dip down lower than normal. It's pretty simple.

Spoiler
Got my first mark in the M24 Chaffee in 36 battles. My fastest one yet. Also picked up the Ace Mastery in that same battle, which was kind of cool.

Estimated Marks of Excellence thresholds - https://wotclans.com.br/tanks/moe
There's one significant problem with the MOE system: 7v7 and 12v12 matches. With the East server gone, this is what's on the table for night-time players in the EU-server. Needless to say, it's rather impossible to three-mark a tank in 7v7 games. Kill over half of the enemy team, get a high caliber and watch those numbers go down.. I think there ought to be some sort of a system to balance it, i.e. the game should take into account how many tanks were actually in the match and factor that in when counting the percentages for MOEs.
Opinions?

I do the same.
I am learning the meta game with marking tanks. And so getting some success. So yeah there are periods where to best leave it alone and others where you go for it.
Also for some tanks, you are better off trying to get in to -2 games and spotting for assist damage rather than trying to get your own damage up. Actually for some tanks I think this is the only way to get 3 marks period. Which kind of devalues the whole concept of marking IMO.

Block Quote
At the moment, only players that have already earned a Mark of Excellence will be able to see the progress towards the next one. Players without a Mark on any of their tanks will not be able to see their percentage while they try to earn the first Mark. This will be changed in future updates, allowing players to view their progress percentage even if they do not currently own a Mark.
Any update about that ?
This is old information, it has been updated for quite some time now. In game, go to stats and every vehicle you have that's tier 5 and up with at least one game will show your percentage of damage standing. As an example if it says 25% that means you have averaged more combined damage that 25% of the people who have played that tank in the last two weeks.

I couldn't resist and had a peek. You had a couple of excellent games for sure, but one or two pants ones in there.
You *are* doing fine though, 2 marks will definitely come, stick with it.
