I knew what ya meant. :)  And thanks!

Sad that it's not as good at hull down. Seems like it's similar to the T32/M103 differences (e.g., not as strong a turret and mantlet, but more mobile).

If you liked playing the Easy 8, you'll like the m46. It's that type of play style. Preserve your health pool, spot, and harass enemies in the first half and stay on the move to maximize how much you're spotting and shooting. Then in the second half you can clean up and punish enemies with your gun and mobility. The accuracy is really meh, so you can't afford to hang back, but you also can't afford to brawl. You have to be an opportunist. The T32 and M103 will bounce shots and the patton just eats them, so you can't rely on armor at all really (although the tracks sometimes eat shots). The gun depression is good so you still want to use terrain, you just can't expect your turret to bounce shots like some of the other American mediums and heavies. You have to shoot things that aren't shooting you back.

The m48 just got a buff on PC, so if you're willing to wait a couple years for the buff to make it to xbox, it might finally be competitive with the other tier X mediums. :P

For those who have gone through this line already: How does the Patton 46 play in comparison to the Pershing? Seems like it'd be similar.

(Note that I'm not 100% sure I even want the 48, as I hear it's just worse tier-for-tier than the 46; but would love to see whatchy'all have to type.)

I have decided to break off my work with the U.S. mediums at the M46.  I looked at the numbers and considered I might break something long before the top package.  This was right after I got my T95E2 which more than suffices my hight tier U.S. medium needs.

Now my 13 skill U.S. medium crew is in the Bulldog until I go through the T49.  I will then evaluate if I want to run that auto-loader  medium or not.

Have one and glad i re-bought it. Never should've sold it. Should've sold the T32 and kept the Pershing.

Will WG ever have WoT offline like they promised?

pershing feels more lumbering and hull down is the way

Patton 46 feels light on tracks and wow the on the move shooting is a separator for me. I sold my pershing shortly after getting halfway through the 46.

I find the 48 kind of meh compared to the 46. Still getting used to the 48 though (but the 46 sits in the garage watching and waiting....)
