Noting that on the XBox One Console version of World of Tanks, both the Panther, and Panther II Models have yet to be upgraded with side skirts, all while other releases on the PC and XBox 360 have them. Several buffs existing on both PC, and the 360, have also yet to be added to the two tanks.

Classified as wiggly bits due to their cosmetic features as per MaxChaos24's explanation that since different platforms are using different models, that they will each encompass different things, but that to note the lack of them, to report it to this thread to highlight it as a concern, was more productive and valuable to WoT staff, we still continue to note that the two tanks remain to not have them, which is a major concern for the tanks enthusiasts.

Block Quote

"Tanks were remade for the XB1 so wiggly bit placement won't be the same on both platforms. Wiggly bits are only art so it doesn't have any affect on the tank but if there is an issue with Wiggly bit placement on any platform, we have a thread here:

Thanks!"

With the following link noting that the new HD models are in development for the PC, and XBox One console, but that despite these being integrated on other platforms, that on the XBox One consoles and unfairly, we have yet to see the addition of Wiggly Bit side skirts still on both the Panther, and Panther II, respectively, despite promises to upgrade these vehicles, and I am hoping we finally see a resolution to this and these things added.

Why not just remove the wiggly bits? and let players choose where to put them?

Personally I would like them removed or have a toggle option to take them off in the options.  I don't need tarps all over the place or helmets wobbling around on the back of the Sherman Jumbo turret or on the rear deck of the TOG II*.  US Tankers wore "War Stories" type helmets at least in WWII.  Some infantryman is going to be mad a tanker drove off with his lid.

I know it's not really wiggly as such but the fuel tank bum lumps you stuck on the back of the t34 88 just look so wrong & spoil what was a cracking looking tank & while I'm here someone's left a helmet on the right side of the tank

The bum lumps on the 85/rudy/100 I don't mind for some reason

Those 'bum lumps' aren't fuel tanks, they are smoke dischargers, common to all Soviet tanks. They probably look out of place to you, because they aren't painted red like the fuel tanks. Personally, I love the detail touches on this vehicle- the fact that the fuel tanks are painted red, indicating that the vehicle is diesel engined, (Most western military vehicles have fuel filler caps painted red for diesel, to prevent the wrong fuel going in.) and also the German inscription on the barrel that says 'don't screw this up', with regards to ammunition load out.

The new premium French HMH tanks have sandbags obstructing the view ports/periscopes of both driver and co-driver/radio operator. Somebody needs to climb up there and shuffle them around, get a few sandbags to lay a little flatter or something. Or did some poor tankers actually drive blind in reality, just for the sake a layer of sandbags worth of protection?

Generic tarps on tiger 2 models rear side armor, and back top of turret. E75 has generic tarp hanging on side of turret. Eyesores to be sure and add nothing to overall appearance of said vehicles.

Give us the option to either add or remove wriggly bits, even if only into predetermined locations.

On a similar subject, would there be any way possible of adding "Spaced Armout Components", (spare track sections, sandbags, bed springs,  etc), onto Tech Tree tanks?

Or even a Permanent All Season Camo skin, similar to those available on Hero tanks, (preferably the Dark Horse ones!)

An All Seasons Klearcote Camo would be nice as well.

Item 1: spare road wheels on front of tank

  • Wheels are placed in front of the drivers view port. He wouldn't' be able to see to drive. Wheels much higher than position on photos of tank.
