Does adding the spall liner equipment slow down your tanks acceleration or top speed and/or does it make your tank more sluggish? I know on PC weight is an issue when choosing modules to upgrade your tank and a spall liner is supposed to make the power to weight ratio worse but does it work like this on console? We can't even see the weight of our tanks/equipment. And I didn't really notice a difference in speed when trying my Aufk. Panther with and without a spall liner.

Not that I'm aware of.

"I don't demand that people think or behave the way I do. I have just as many questions about my own ideas as other people might have about my ideas. I'm not convinced I'm absolutely right all the time, but I'll take the chance and state my opinion at the time that I have it. I may regret it later, I may even change my mind later, but I take a stand."-  Frank Zappa

Why have you put a spall liner on a scout?

You can't really scout in that thing, it is terrible. I used the spall liner for ramming.

Ok, i used the term loosely.  Does a spall liner help in ramming situations.  I thought it was to stop fragments from the inside of the tank, caused by HE (?) shells impacting the tank, breaking free and causing injury to the crew.  I agree that it's terrble, the Awful Panther.

The basic damage principle of ramming is an explosion (HE) at the point of impact. Yes, a spall liner negates some the damage caused by a collision.

A spall does protect you from ramming damage. The Aufklarungspanzer Panther is the best tank in the game.
