I do really like this tank. I know some of you do to but I want to know your opinions about it?

Yes sidescraping capble I know. The most damage I think i've done in it is somewhere 7-8k, yours?

I got my first ever Pools in the tank I got my first ever Radley-Walters. Follow link to see the screenshot.

Ridiculous armor for a medium and fun tank overall, but I still prefer my HEAT-54 due to the normal mounting of the turret.

It is an amazing tank.  I rarely drive mine because I don't want to get burned out driving it with absolute fail teams.  I think it is my favorite medium.  When you can face hug and kill a tier X heavy while bouncing side shots point blank from a KV4 it puts a smile on your face.  You can get away with so much in this tank.

I'm on the A-44 at the moment but either losing the engine, catching on fire, or both every time the thing gets penned from the front is seriously turning me off that line.

I don’t know how to act my age! I’ve never been this old before!

^I can't say it any better than mcnoople. Nothing like bullying someone and twitching your hull at the last second and have your tracks soak the shot, when you know that shot would have hit your lower plate, if aimed, or hit center mass, if autolock (or it just bounces off your turret).

I'm about 49k from unlocking the 430. The 430 II crew will go there and the T-54 crew will go in the 430 II. The T-54 will be mothballed.

I just have trouble with the E100s etc. I only carry 10 heat and all that's good for against the big armor boys is holding a flank and hoping the other flank makes progress. I've had matches where I've hulled down and scraped and held a flank. Didn't score well but you fell good about holding off a flank. You, still have horrible matches with tater teams and the abundance of garbage maps lately (sacred valley war, hidden village, dragon ridge)

In my opinion the A43/44 are both duds compared to what comes later.  The 416 is hard to get used to, but it is basically a larger ELC with an amazing gun with great DPM.  The 430-2 is everything the 416 is, but with troll strength armor and turret.  You won't believe how good the camo on them is until you try it.

The 43/44 were fun for me at least, but have a nasty habit of blowing their top

I'm on the 416 and really looking forward to the 430 II. The 416 seems to be a feast or famine kinda tank for me. One match is glorious, the next is an absolute disaster...

the 430 II was one of my all time favorites. I love being able to sneak around the bf taking pot shots and then being able to brawl with some unsuspecting tank that is all alone in their face.  My only regret is that I need to train a new crew for it since I transferred the old crew on to the tier X 430.

How is the 430?  I don't think I will be buying it since I have the 140 and am closer to unlocking the 62a than I am to the 430.  They say the 430 isn't as good as the other 2, but that it is still a very good tank.

yes, if you take time to aim, you can damage engine and start fire from front on both 44 and 416 or 430.  I think I did that 3 times.  Easy to have a round go to high and bounce though.

There are still some severe frustrations, but I still love like the game.

Yeah, but that is another beautiful feature of the 430-2.  It starts out almost fully upgraded.  It isn't much of a difference.  Out of the 260 tanks I have played there are only 3 or 4 that I consider to be great tanks stock and it is 1 of them.

I have the 140 as well but I do better in the 430, I think in part because it is a little more stealthy in nature and the crew I have on it have been trained very well (10+ skills/perks I believe).  You still have to aim in the gun before you shoot but if you can do it in a T-54 then you can do it on the 430.

From my understanding of the 3, the T-62a has the best gun handling and a super stronk turret, the 140 is the 2nd best in gun handling and gets an extra degree of gun depression, and the 430 is the stealthiest of the 3 (not by much, but its something) and the quickest ROF.

O well to late :P converted enough XP yesterday to fully upgrade the 430 ll and E-75

430-II is the best tier 9 Soviet medium. I stopped playing the 54 after I got mine.

That's an accurate assessment.  It's a Russian STB-1, spits ammo like crazy but the gun handles like crap in comparison.  The 430 is still a good tank though and has the trolliest armour of tier ten mediums.

I run large med kit for the passive and prev maintenance. No issues.  Defensive stuff goes a loooong way. The biggest risk imho are shots from above going through the top armor in front of the turret.
