Okay WG, you've got the Motherland Op up and running for a free tier 8 soviet tank.  Very nice.

You also advised in the breakdown for Update 3 that you were including a number of SD design's for tanks not yet seen on console.

Does this finally mean that we will see the Aussie designed AC1, AC3 & AC4 on Xbox??  You've had the Sentinel on the PC version of the game for a while now, why do we console players get left out??

Surely if you can bring out a Premium tank & Op for the Russian's, you can do something similar for your Aussies (and kiwi) fans.  Put the tanks in the British tech tree (there's heaps of room).

Give us the Sentinels, in it's various designs, and 1CAB will gladly take on any clan in them!!  :)

These tanks are not likely to be very high on WG's priority list. They are too busy unnecessarily buffing/nerfing tanks that don't need to be touched just because a select few people complain about them because they have a hard time against them and creating new maps, updating maps, and fixing bugs on existing tanks and maps. WG has shown a fair tendency to release German and Russian tanks in bulk compared to the other nations and they release new German and Russian tanks more often then they do British, American, French, or Japanese. The British in particular are pretty neglected in the grand scheme of things, it took them almost an entire year after releasing the "Royal Artillery" branch to add any new tanks for Britain including the Knight while the other nations got semi-frequent updates.

Perhaps we could have a whole Aussie line.

Start with a Universal Carrier with a Bofor's gun on it.

Chuck in some of those Italian tanks we captured at Tobruk (we should the Italians how to actually use them)  :)

Then the AC's

Followed up by the Aussie Centurian and finally the Aussie Leopard!!

Now that's a line I'd work on and keep!!

I couldn't remember what tank this was (I follow the PC's progression). After googling it and recalling Jingles' video on it... yes. Please! We need more laughs on the battlefield. Although seriously.. the more tanks the better.

I wanted that option, I don't care that much about the sentinel, and there's really no need to rush it from PC. We still need the introduction of the Japanese heavy line and the Czech tanks before the Sentinel.

I want it on Console, but did you watch the developer stream yesterday? Player question was "when will we get more British tanks" and Pain's answer was "not any time soon".

We have soo many German, Russian and American Premiums in game that it would be nice if WG started rolling out some Premium tanks for the other nations.

Really like the look of the Sentinel,  and the British line could really benefit from having a tier IV Premium,  (and the Vickers at tier II would be appreciated as well).

Only if we get the AC3 with the 25 pounder.

Lots of quick-firing (2 pounder/5cm/6 pounder) tanks already in the game, but only 2 vehicles with the 25 pounder, neither of which is a turreted tank.   One would be an interesting option, though it will need very good view range if they make it a tier 5 premium with standard MM.

There should actually be enough material for an entire series of Commonwealth tanks like the Ram and AC.  WGA can decide to give them dual  country training ability: while the Ram, for instance, is a Canadian tank, making it a dual country trainer would allow people who bought it as a US trainer to continue using it for that, while other players can choose to use it to train Commonwealth crews.  The same situation applies with the Sexton I and II: they could be dual-country trainers, allowing players who previously bought them to train British crews to now train British crews or Commonwealth ones.  It would be useful if the Sexton II was good for something.     :sceptic:

Whilst there are six artillery that use the 25 Pounder, it is a shame that only a single tank uses it as a direct fire gun.

I do agree that the AC3 would be an interesting premium. The AC4 with the twin 25 Pounders moreso.

You can PM with with questions, if you wish. I don't bite.

Sorry, I modified my original post to make it clearer.  The AC3 was planned to go into production, but the AC4 was only created for test purposes, to see if the tank could withstand the type recoil forces the 17 pounder would generate.  I also think the AC4 would either be over or under powered in the game.  If it was a tier 5 tank, it would risk being dramatically dominant in tier 5 matches.  If it was a tier 6 tank, unless it was given blistering speed so it could act as a good scout, it would frequently meet tanks it could only do negligible damage to.  Great acceleration would let a tier 6 AC4 pop out, track a tier 8 heavy, and jam its gun with a quick ripple fire, so the green heavy hitters could put several good shots into the enemy before he could return fire.

I forgot the Birch Gun, but that's the last SPG on which the 25 pounder is a legitimate option.  So that leaves:

Sexton I and II (only difference is the hull~ stats are almost identical*)

Alecto
Birch Gun

*note that this is not the mythical US Sexton.  I could avoid getting killed by a skill cannon while scouting in a T95 on an open map last night, but got nuked 3x in other games by that pay-to-win abomination

WG recently DID have a tech video on the Sentinel.  If their staff are prepared to put the effort in to produce and publish a video highlighting the bloody Sentinel, Why won't they bring it into the console version of the game???

WG I'm always up for a good tease, but you need to follow through after such a great lead up!!

Bring out the 25 pounder as a Premium and then roll out the lighter AC1 & AC3 as normal acquirable tanks.

If you want to test it first then let us in 1CAB take it out and trial it.  We'd love the opportunity to surprise some of the other clans on the battlefield!!  :)

PC has the AC1 now.  The AC3 would just need a few (historical!) buffs and 370 view range to make it suitable for tier 5 standard MM.  The AC3 was a 25 pounder tank.
