I've got nothing major against the Excelsior, it has its good points and bad, I bought it a while back when I was still fairly new to the game and I had some half decent games in it but there was just something I didn't really like about it. I couldn't tell you what that was, but it just didn't do it for me, if you get my meaning. I might ask Wargaming to restore it for me and give it another go.

My apologies.  Agree it can be a frustrating tank at times - accuracy on the move leaves a lot to be desired and its ammo rack drives me mad at times. But I rather love its speed and rate-of-fire.  It brings to mind a Cromwell on steroids.  Funny how some tanks just click with some people.  I bet you run tanks I wouldn't touch with a barge-pole and visa versa, so totally get where you're coming from.  Happy tanking.
