UPDATE:
There has been a fix put in place for this issue.
Any player that has made a purchase that did not go through at the time it was bought, please power cycle your system by holding the power button for 10 seconds.
Once you have restarted your console, you should have been credited to your account.
We are currently aware of an issue with our Gold purchasing system.
Our engineers are working on resolving the issue as soon as possible.
At this time we do not want to have you go through possible unneeded steps to resolve this issue.
It is our hope that once this issue is resolved, you should be able to log out of the game and once you log back in, your purchase will be there. We will let you know once this has been fixed.
We appreciate your patience while this issue is being investigated and fixed.
