Centurions have acceptable terrain resistance, get up to speed fairly quickly, top speed is what gets them. I like BIA, Situational Awareness, Recon, Safe Stowage, Snap Shot, Smooth Ride.

Which Centurions are you talking about?

BiA never hurts.

Cents are big mediums and I found camo/silent driving essential to their role of second line support, and they tend to be arty magnets because of their size and ammo-rack weakness.

Safe Stowage was a priority for me as well as pain tolerance. But these were probably the 4-5th skills I added.

They have fairly good ground resistances, so ORD might be a later skill.

Yes, Camouflage skills are very good, in my opinion. I used to snipe from hills.

Also BiA, sixth sense.

And buy at least the Gun Rammer and the Ventilation as it is very cheap for these mediums.

BIA, I find it extremely useful. Perhaps even more so than SS, as you still get the "detected" warning if you look at whatever is looking at your's direction.

Then camo and silent ride for me, help to avoid early detection. Then whatever strikes your fancy and whatever skill sets you wish to emphasize. Situational awareness, recon for improved vision range, Repair, track mechanic, JOAT, pain tolerance, safe stowage for survival, snap shot, dead eye for improved shooting, driving skills for maneuverability and circling, etc.

I tend to run 2 lines for each nation, a heavy line where I emphasize survivability, and a medium line where I emphasize camouflage, vision range first. My british medium crew is on the 7/1 now. To be moved to the AX once I am done with that.

YMMV.

No. Detected is useful, but not perfect. Not enough warning if they're pre-aimed where you pop up if you're spotted, and doesn't help if they can lead their shots.

Whatever you like? I typically prioritize view range then camo.

BIA, smooth ride, snapshot, clutch breaking, situational awareness, recon, off road... swap safe stowage in if RNG decides to take a swing at your ammo-rack.

smooth ride and snap shot are interchangeable. you can either go camo or view range, personally i say view range 100%  safe stowage is nice, but only throw it in when RNG starts hating, the Cent 1 should always be hull down, and the 7/1 has decent hull armor so ammo-racks, while very annoying. will be a minor problem when played correctly

you might consider pain tolerance and jack of all trades for the 7/1, after the turret nerf people lol kill your loader through the gun mantlet, and hull pens are either ammo-rack or driver.

I find the british tanks seem to get module damage or catch fire every time a butterfly farts within 50 metres of one of them, usually the first hit of the game seems to set my conqueror on fire or kill my ammo rack almost every single game which is getting utterly ridiculous so I tend to put preventative maintenance and/or safe stowage on them

Not sure if theres been some module damage nerf recently but the amount of module damage and ammo rack one shots seems to have gone through the roof in the last few months

Edited by ubermik, 09 November 2016 - 10:24 PM.

I used to think that it would be better to ONLY play against opponents that were at the same or a similar level of skill to me too

Then when I thought about it I realised that being in a match with 6 2 year olds, 12 corpses, 4 blind people, 3 people with no arms, and 4 people in comas might not be as much fun as I had initially imagined

That's why I wuv my waffle soooooooo much

My crew in the 7/1 has SS, BIA, Repairs, Camo, Snapshot and most of Smoothride so far.  This works well in the tank for me, maybe silent driving next.

My AX crew is a new crew training in premiums at the moment, just SS, BIA, Repairs, Camo and working on Snapshot.
