Even without the new handbrake feature my tanks would not turn properly when i only kept pressing the stick left or right but always end up in a jigglespasm after like 15-20° especially when under fire or being circled. i guess WGA wants to skip this by the 90° slide, not an option for Arty and T95 though...

My eternity is longer than Yours _ Make boosters selectable consumables after battle, rather than a RNG MM wager _ The tallest ones confirm: MM is not broken, its ADVANCED

I have a poll open to get a "Customized control option"

Please help convince WG to give us that option :)

Well that sucks, I use the D pad Cruise Control, putting the HBrake (Which I didn't want anyway) on the stick is a nightmare.

None of these seem to work for me with the new "handbreak". I haven't tried on the Elite controller yet that should work as I can re-map things but I think there needs to some fix for use with regular xbox controller.........I'm not sure how the mapping config should be to fix it though.

its a problem  for anyone with a heavy left thumb or worn controller and some with some disabilities causing it to cruise control

Is it possible to have an alternative to swap the hand break to the right stick click? I been having trouble breaking while reversing far too often and get killed cause I get a bit too excited pressing down too hard on left stick to reverse, so instead of reverse, I m stopped dead set as target.
That one bounced... WTF..not at 100m and not twice in a roll and not on the side of a Walfe-100 with a BL-10!!!

+1 for this setup. Hull Lock is less of a risk on the LS, and pressing A for the handbrake would seem intuitive while turning with LS.

I've found that it's just overly sensitive on the LS. There have definitely been occasions where I have absolutely not been applying enough pressure on LS to activate the handbrake and yet have been unable to reverse. It's almost as if there is some coding exceptions on occasions which doesn't clear the LS active, and hence you need to do some other manoeuvres on LS to clear it.

If it requires LS to be fully depressed(with click) to activate handbrake then that should be fine, I can deal with that. That is just patently not the case in all scenarios at the moment.

Seriously.  Ugggggggggg please please please tell me ther is a way to just shut the dam break off.

who uses "D-Pad Cruise control" config, try "Handbrake" config and remap your button in PS4 settings - "L3 to UP on D-Pad". It works perfectly:)

remapping: Settings - Accessibility - Button Assigments

Is possible to move Cruise control from left stick to "UP D-pad" in "Handbrake" Controller configuration? It would solve all the problems. Btw nobody use backward cruise control

Backward cruise control is extremely useful when driving the Archer or Crusader SP. As you know, they have rear-facing guns and go faster in "reverse".

For me, default set up is fine. I don't see how I will be doing stunt driving with the handbrake while trying to aim at the same time.

May I suggest adding another scheme similar to the "Handbrake" scheme with LB as Handbrake, Down D-Pad as Radial Command Menu, and A as Switch Ammo Type.

Better yet, could we just get custom control mapping? This would allow us to customize our control schemes to our exact liking.

I'm not going to throw a tantrum about it but it's rough going at the moment. It's a nice addition but I would like to cast my vote for a config that leaves the left stick with no press option. I tense up and mash that thing all the time. I changed configs long ago so I'd stop setting cruise control by mistake. Now I look like a 14 year old learning to drive a stick shift. My crew is suing me for whiplash as we speak. If anyone needs me I'll be back down in the low tiers relearning how to play for awhile.

I use the D-pad Cruise control config and then the brake was on the left thumb stick. This caused me to active the brake in a moment of panick trying to reverse off a ridge. The tank stops and boom I'm dead!

Thankfully I have a $140 Elite controller that allows you to remap the buttons. Now i have the brake on a paddle underneath and the left thumb stick click "unmapped" is deactivated. I don't know if you can reprogram a stock controller but this config makes the game unplayable. In a tight spot I inevitably put too much force on the left stick and the tan stops. disaster ensues. Need to rethink that one.

It appears you can switch the assignment of 2 buttons on your stock controller and switch the stick down clicks left and right. so your zoom would move to the left stick and handbrake to the right stick

Can confirm using your right thumb while turning with left isn't too bad.

I also have an elite controller but I use the driver config. Could you please make handbrake more configurable, such as user defined button? I can map any button to a paddle on the Elite controller, but I cannot map "pull RT and LT at the same time". Thanks.
