Thanks in name of at least 2 of my friends! The problem was silent and infuriating!

Add: "In your opinion" or something.

The default controls are great for me, and make perfect sense.

Having the handbrake one the left stick does make more sense than the d pad.

They don't have one unfortunately.

Don't worry, soon enough it will work for everyone.

Sovietdeath had a good layout in the sticky

Using the  (D-pad Cruise)Xbox as a Base Setup

Switch Ammo Types from (A) to (D-PAD Left)

Hull Lock from (D-PAD Left) to (LS)

Handbrake from (LS) to (A)

Well screw everyone that liked it in the mean time. I guess if I want to use the brand new feature I'll have to use it on the D pad which feels really awkward. Too bad for me, right?

It makes sense to have the handbrake on a button the requires you to REMOVE YOUR THUMB FROM THE STICK?! In what world does that make sense?

You're not bothering about that obnoxious cone that prevents me from playing then? That's awesome!

I know right? Too bad everyone was going ham on their controllers and blamed the layout for it.

Here is my feedback.  I liked the handbrake where it was on the d-pad cruise control.  Please put it back like it was or add it back as an option  As it stand right now I cannot even map the handbrake since it is not assigned and there is no other d-pad cruise option.

Changes that I would be fine with on default.

LB switched to Handbrake and radial wheel switched to dpad.

Or add a toggle to handbrake on/off for the dpad control scheme.

These keep the important driving/tank controls within normal reach without having to move your hands to the dpad. First option I lose radial control but that is preferable to losing driving control or having to go buy a elite controller.

I'm a bit curious as to the demographics of the people that fumbled with the handbrake. I'm past 50 and maybe my dumb old fingers just don't have the same response as the younger players. I wanted to like the handbrake but it just didn't work for me. I was also only playing my German heavies that don't benefit much from a handbrake.

We were screwing up with cruise control. That's why they gave us the d pad cruise controller option to take it off of the stick.

It should have been an obvious warning to WG of putting something on the stick when they already had complaints a long time ago with putting the cruise on the stick.

Can you possibly move the handbrake on Driver to the     d-pad ? . I can't tell you how many times if stopped my tank on accident because of it being trigger activated

@MaxChaos24

Why did the Radial Command Menu need to be moved for the Handbrake controller layout? Why couldn't Change Ammo Type have been moved from the A Button to Down D-pad (like it currently is), and just put handbrake on the now unused A Button?

The Radial Command Menu is basically unusable on the Handbrake controller layout. Were there really that many accidental consumable button presses with it on A?

Noooo! Driver is best handbrake config. Just dont pull both triggers at the same time. much easier than having to take thumb off stick to use the dpad. not much of a driver config if you cant drive while usingvthe handbrake.

but seriously, having some button swap options in each config would be most welcome....
