I heard it plays similar to the t-34-1
....still I am only at the tier 2 now... so I have no personal experience...
however, they all say no matter how bad or good the tanks in the line are, the tier 10 is really worth the grind .....if you have experience with/know how to play poorly armoured tanks that is....

*T-34/100
Its decent. Sluggish but holds good top speed. 5 degrees of gun depression is nothing special.
Gun is very good with 250 alpha, 175 standard pen, 250 HEAT pen and 7rof. Bad accuracy and aimtime make it bad at sniping.
Its a close quarters support medium.
Oh and you only get 30 rds of ammo, so expect to come close to running out on a mastery badge game.

She's everything I hoped she'd be.
Seriously, though, my assessment as a T-34 fanboy:
The T-34/100 is a ranged alternative to the T-34-1. You get better gun handling with the same mobility, but since you're on the T-34 platform, you have unreliable armor. I disagree with Owl's stance on it being a supportive close combat medium. It can play that role, but you're better off with a T-34-1. However, if you're just passing through the grind and that's a style that works for you, go for it. I find the tank excels at mid to long range support, though. Its mobility allows it to be aggressive and flank or isolate targets, but with better gun handling than the T-34-1's 100mm, I find that mobility is best used to relocate and stay out of sight while pelting people at range.
It does have a low ammo count, though, so that can be a bit frustrating. I think a lot of people will dislike it since it's just an up-gunned Tier VI, but it's a very versatile tank and the only downfall I can truly think of for it is that it just can't take a hit. It's got too much going for it to call it a bad tank, even if it is on the platform of a Tier V/Vi T-34/T-34-85.
Did you play the Zizka T 40? If so, it's the same playstyle. You're not supposed to be trading health. You're just trying to use an above-average-alpha gun to smack people without taking return fire. Simple as that.

....tier 7 mediums in a nutshell
Also good to know: the T-34-100 only has 5 degrees of gun depression, which is very poor by Czech standards....

Er, that's backwards if we're talking about the Russians.
The main appeal for me, outside of my love of the T-34 platform, is the fact that it's the opposite of the Soviet KV-13 and T-43. Instead of being an improved platform with the same tier VI gun, it's an improved gun with the same tier VI platform. A concept that'd be disastrous with most VIs, but works great with something as versatile as the T-34. Don't get me wrong, I adore my KV-13, but it gets a bit old carrying that 85mm around in tier IX matches. I've always felt competent in the KV-13, or the T-34-1 (for different reasons, though) but I actually feel in my element when running the T-34/100. It's such a nice change of pace for me.

I just moved up to the T-34-100 today.
I thought it would feel uncomfortably slow in comparison to the tier 6 predecessor, but it actually still pretty quick and feels right.
It is EXTREMELY accurate, I nail a lot of shots dead on without being fully aimed in.
The only downside is the gun depression IMO, it's awful.

I had to check the topic title to see if we're talking about the same tank. I feel lucky the shells come out the right end of the barrel on this thing. Granted I spend almost all my time in German tanks so I'm spoiled on accuracy. By the stats it's not that bad but all I seem to hit is dirt and air. Haven't disliked a tank this much in awhile.

I just started with T-34-100. My expression- the tank is one of the worst in MT category Lvl 7. The basic gun can't even hit the target. I don't talk about make a damage for Lvl 6 tanks. I am very disappointed so far.
let's see what happen when I'll have all upgrades in place.

The tank become useful after full upgrade completed. For the first 20 battles I managed to destroy 3 tanks. After upgrade I have almost killed 2 tanks per battle for next 20. Not so bad.

I just had this happen with the stock tank, no packages unlocked yet. I cannot believe this happened. In any case, I like this tank except for it's current gun (being stock of course) it plays surprisingly well for me.
