With the black tanks, this will be the only tank I will and have passed on. Will not pay that price sorry to say.

Nope! Way too much even for the base bundle.

If this pricing structure is the norm from now on (Zizka, British Bulldog, Tiger 131, Fatherland) I'm going to have to stop paying money in this game. It's not even remotely affordable anymore!

Okay, but is it 500 EXACTLY, as others have mentioned in another thread, or is it 500 minimum, per game?

Why does it have to be so confusing WG?!?!?!

Assume it is 500 per game, if it turns out to be other one, then be happy!

It's 500 minimum.  No way they make it 500 exactly.  That's absurd.

Again, I see absolutely NO reason to pay that absurd amount of money for the tank.

Sadly though there will be players that do that will just influence more of this.

well just look at how many 131's there are. 8100 is a ridiculous price for a tier 7.

surprisingly, the Fury was priced reasonably.

from the news page :

Perks of the Purchase

Why wait to get the Fatherland when you can get it right away? Purchasing the Fatherland in any bundle gives you access to even better rewarding Loot Drops (like 1 day of Premium) with the "Fatherland Unleashed" Op (runs until February 28).

You also get:

  • Repeatablex2 Crew XP in Fatherland (through March 6)
  • Additionalx4 XP on first wins in Fatherland (through March 6)

I am in no way poor, not rich either but I have a disposable income that lets me travel with my family from Sweden to my wife's home country of Japan at least once a year. I have bought tons of tanks but did not buy the black edition tanks. My wife asked me what I want to have for my birthday on the 24th of February... I turn 35 and have no debts so I am quite happy that I and my two children and my wife can live a comfortable but not luxurious life. Anyway, when my wife asked what I wanted for my birthday I answered, the new tank on WoT.

When I saw the prices for this tier VIII Russian tank I was shocked and even if my wife insists I should buy it upon release I really have a bad feeling in my guts. For the second time I feel that buying this tank would be a waste of money and only encouraging higher prices in the future. So even if my wife insists, I will most likely say no and spend some money that the entire family can enjoy instead.

Sorry WG but I can not see this prices as anything else than an exploit aimed at your most avid fans, which I identify myself among. I also know that what I feel is irrelevant for you and many here on the forum will tell me to just not buy it if I do not want to. I do not want to have a debate about buying or not buying. I wish all luck to the people buying the tank and I will not call you names and other [edited]that some people tend to do, I will just hope that WG see that there are many with me that will not buy this because of the price. I think a lower price would equal more sales but I am not educated in economics so I am probably wrong.

In the end I hope WG over time will come down to in my eyes more humane pricing on the tanks and I will then continue to buy premiums. If the pricing policy continues, I am sorry to say but I will only buy premium time when my 90 or so days is finished and my days supporting the game by buying premiums will be over. I of course feel sad about this but I would like to ad that I love the game and would love to be a supporter also in the future if the pricing makes it possible.

Thank you all for reading my wall of text and excuse my grammar and spelling, I am after all a silly Swede.

I wonder if The Motherland will come out from behind her pay wall?

Tanks must always push the battle, maneuver terrain, gain position, coordinate, and devastate the enemy. Move away from bad engagements and towards favourable ones. Relocating does not make you a coward loser. Play like a TANK not a pill box!

You are doing the right thing! In the end we customers votes with our wallets and that is the only thing that will make a company like WG to see that the pricing of their products are too high.

All this tells me is that if I don't earn with the Op I'm not getting one. Those prices are insane, and not in a good way.

I hope to one day be wealthy enough to be considered eccentric rather than just plain nuts.

I was saving in case I couldn't win the Father. That price is quite a sting though. I wonder how much the sales people at WG earn, if they think that equates to a good deal. In the same month where the Ultimate FCM is around the price I paid for the Independence Bundle (which was a good deal).

Am I way off here - is it some exchange rate thing making it seem like it's overinflated to me? Or am I just more old school than I'd like to admit?

Oh and I think the extra op in the mega bundle is the Motherland Ace, not a secret unlocky thing...
