As I've been reading I am starting to feel like the odd one out, I actually like the T24.

I play mainly lights, but when I first got the T24 I tried to play it like a medium, which sadly doesn't work given the (lack of) armor.  After realizing it I started playing it as a slower light, relying on binocs, and bushes, while using the still decent speed to get to areas quickly and retreat or attack as needed.  With a gun rammer, the DPM is pretty decent and with vents and binoculars its view range is great.  I've actually kept it as I've continued up the line because it's becoming a great way to get silver.

I liked it too on it's final days. I will get it again later, and put some good equipment on it. I'll probably use optics, net and vents, to use it more like a scout-sniper.

It's DPM it's terrible, and I don't see rammer giving it an edge, but penetration and accuracy are very good.

Yeah the gun is ok but the dpm awful! I ran it with optics, rammer and vents to get the dpm up. Had some good games in it. Not one to roll round alone in. I find the accuracy much better than the t25 which tends to spoon shots way too high.

Once I got the top package and my crew hit 100% I started to get very good games was at the top of the xp or damage board.

I do terrible with the T 24.  I have been using it in Ranked Battles to try and get my first skill trained up without it effecting my stats. I am lucky if I get one pen before being destroyed

Reminds me of the German VK30.D at tier VI, good gun, good mobility,  but thin armour.

Going to be interesting with a semi decent crew.

It's not a bad tank. German tier Vs are stuck with the 7,5 canon with only 110 penetration (not including the derp), so 132 is tall cotton for me. Rammer and vents made it more enjoyable. Like Karagh said, I enjoyed it a lot more as its crew skill went up. I opted to keep it and ground extra money to buy the tier VI.

Good speed, gun depression, track & turret traverse.Alpha decent for tier 5.......sold it tho,.because I have other tanks that do the same thing.Redundancy is a thing in this game.

I might try this technique, as so far using it as a medium, I've been two-shotted by T34's with astonishing regularity, and I'm growing to hate it to the point I wanted to free XP past it to the T25.

I have the German T-25, which is also tier V, but I think I like the T-24 a lot better.
The handling feels much more responsive. On the T-25, the poor traverse of both the tracks and the turret just kills me.
Stat masturbation:

Tried the new tactics, still hated it, so free XP'ed to the T25- and am enjoying that a LOT more.

I liked it. Am holding on to it and plan on building a crew for it since it'll be one of my main Vs.

I seem to be loving the oddballs of the line. T24, T-34/100, and TVP VTU have all won my heart, while everyone else is just interested in the T25 and the T50's at IX and X.

...I don't know what to put here now...

I do rather well in the T-24

Until I just added in equipment in my T-25, I performed better in the T-24...now it is pretty close

I say keep it

Good mobility, very nice pen. However, I've never been ammo-racked more in any other tank in the game.

As a short term solution, I agree. Safe Stowage is my long term priority for this line.

Yes, it seems something needed in Czech crews. Does anyone know if tier 7 and 8 have weak ammo rack too?

Elited it recently..... & doing ok with it, going to get crew skills up before going any further.

Have the "Virus" tank too...... Which is helping, stats are better in T24 by a long way......

Best advice for these tanks..... Try, & then try harder not to get hit!!

Cheers MB

My biggest issue with the tank is the Engine. It feels VERY low on HP. I've actually had games where one tank with a good enough RoF can actually keep me immobilized by shooting the engine out...after the first shot of damage taken knocks it out.

Favorite Tanks: Panzer IV, Churchill VII, FV304, Tiger P, StuG III G
