Sorry, I do not have the 40, I do run the 25 and I worked the weekness of it to make it more durable by adding in a SL, WAR and Vents

What seems to be the str/weakness of the 40?

Quite the same. Three shots and you're gone.

Facing a Kv-2, one shot it's enough to make your day.

Facing the front of a KV2 you are gone in most tanks , but i agree the zizka aint no easy peasy and Im struggling with it to.so far i run it with vents and rammer and Im not sure what to put in the last slot. I have the German T 25 but a think some how zizka is different.

I run rammer, GLD and optics.  Small repair, small first -aid and food.

Train crew in BIA, Snapshot and smooth ride.

Do not lead the fight with this tank. It's a second line support medium and flanker. I like to let others spot the enemy and hang back to where I can stop and fully aim my shots. If spotted then retreat for cover or relocate. This tank doesn't do well trading shots because of its long aim time. When facing tier VIII tanks, don't be afraid to fire HEAT at flat surfaces.

Thank you. Till now, i used it as TD, since it causes a good damage. With all camo perks and the net and binocs as equipment. But i'm not sure about this.

Yeah I find with this tank, if you are spotted then you are dead, the armour is insanely bad, the only part that can ever bounce shots is the front plate of the turret, but a decent shot on it thats at a reasonable angle will still pen. The gun itself is decent ish aside from the terrible muzzle velocity, I find myself sniping like a TD with it but I get frustrated by the slow muzzle volcity screwing my shots on moving targets. If you can flank and keep cover it's useful because the tanks you are firing at are often pinned down anyway and the speed allows you to peekabo before they can turn to face get away fast enough if they get a mind to chase you. That's when I play it any way, as far as I'm concerned the thing is a piece of hot trash wrapped up in a nice paintjob, if they fix the muzzle velocity then I may get a mind to use it more often to train a decent Czech crew.

P.s. I run rammer, binocs and camo net, I should probably use vents, crew skills training BIA and the first perk I want is sixth sense, that skill is vital in a tank that is so squishy, especially when arty get involved you need to know if you are spotted or not. When I play arty I love to fling rounds at the Zizka and watch it go sky high when I land a shot in the same postcode.

I picked mine up yesterday and I am currently running: Vents, Wet Ammo Rack and Spaull Liner.

I survive rather well when I am paying attention in a support roll when the heavy's are working down a target.

I hit pretty solid, stay hull down and use METT-T when maneuvering, never just yoloing.

I am undecided as what skills/perks yet.

I am running cammo for now, about 80% trained and it has helped me some for sure....or the spotting mech are wacked.

Alot of people say go SS, but what this tank needs is durability on the battlefield. If you use METT-T, SS won't really matter to much imo. Gettng hit with arty is a reality, so I don't get pissed and I move tactically to reduce that chance.

Small repair, small medkit and manual fire.

Load out is what came with the T-40 plus 5 HE

SS must be Snap Shot, but I'm blowed if I know what the other one is.

While the muzzle velocity of the premium round is poor what really handicaps this tank is the terrible aiming bloom, you cant shoot on the move and if you need to turn the turret the bloom is super bad and takes an age to settle.

On top of that it have an super unpresise cannon. Back in the days the Tjekkian waapon industry was famus for their high quality weapond production so it is quiet funny and we should hope WG will make the buff this tank really needs.

Binos, GLD & Rammer...... Aim time/bloom is rubbish. Six Sense a must ( still working on crew at moment.... )

No 1 rule: try not to get hit, you have no armour..... Go around slopes/hills ( not up & over! ) bad gun depression & high turret make ridge fighting near impossible. Brawling is out too!

Use speed & mobility to out-flank, take shots at tanks destracted with other greenies.... Shoot, relocate.

Don't be afraid to use HEAT rounds.

Going to work on shooting on the run skills ( smooth ride & snap shot ) this tank is great in a platoon with other mobile mediums.

Good luck..... Starting to like this tank ( & it's the only Czech premium, so like you have a choice?? )

Cheers MB

I don't know what happened to Zizka. It was pretty good and somewhat fun to play when it was on sale, now it's never top tier and most of the time bottom tier and the tank feels worse than it used to be even though I've gotten some skills to its crew.
