Greetings highly esteemed forum-goers,

I come to raise the news.

If you are planning to get the Rudy, STOP, and ask yourself the following:

1) Am I going to get the Rudy because of the dog?

Answer:Then I can't stop you lol

2)Do I need a crew trainer?

WAIT, NO, DON'T PULL THE TRIGGER!

On the 27th of March, the T-34-88 will be put in the shop for 3,480 GOLD!

The T-34/88 can train both, GERMAN AND USSR crews!

But you might ask, "Well, Fasteroid, which is better? Rudy, or the T-34/88?"

This is one-sided.

The T-34/88 beats the Rudy in the following terms:

-Better Engine

-Better DPM

-220 alpha vs 180 alpha from the Rudy.

-NOW, the RUDY HAS 10 RPM, the T-34/88 has 9.52 RPM. THAT's NOT A LOT FOR DOING A LOT OF ALPHA COMPARED TO THE RUDY!! :O

-88 is less prone to engine damage compared to the Rudy(I owned a rudy on PC... damn the engine damage..)

-88 can train both, Russian and German crews

-88 has the rare tank syndrome( which is a double edged-sword as enemies will focus you AF)

88 IS CHEAPER THAN THE RUDY's BASIC PACKAGE

Now, here is where the Rudy beats the T-34/88

-Better aimtime

-Better Penetration(+12mm, IKR SUCH A LARGE AMOUNT)

-Better terrain resistances

-Rudy comes with a free sixth sense Scooby-Snack.(Yum!)

-The scooby-snacks are the most important part, amirite?

-As well, it only has a slightly better rate of fire.

-More view range(not by much)

-It has doge

-Better camo?(can't confirm)

3) Do you already own a T-34/88?

Answer: *unintelligible*

Have both and while I like both Rudy is more fun. The 34-88 has crew exp bonus though. Rudy doesn't get that I don't think.

What's next? A bundle with the Nameless tank that includes a full size body pillow of the Nameless commander?

Not sure, but the Rudy does have a silver bonus, unlike the 34-88. And why does Rudy auto correct into fury?

Thanks for the info, Will wait for the T3488. Struggling with these stock tanks(DW2), Bottom tier is frustrating. This gun really is bad. Loaded 6 premium rounds and they still bounce on weakspots. MG ports, Lower Glacius and Cupolas. I just want an E50-M. But already dreading the Panthers. No premium acct. Not sure I want to spend alot on this game at the moment. But the T34-88, Will be a determining factor. I left before and just came back,. +1

See, the T-34-85 is in a weird place for me, as 2 of my other favorite tanks are solid competitors:

T-34-88 - same tank but with a bigger gun, and even though it would have worse penetration its absolutely workable and a devastating tank.

Type 58 - I actually prefer the gun setup on this tank to the one on the T-34-85. It basically gets the 85's mid-package gun(126 pen, 160 damage, 12 ROF) but with the soft-stats of the upper-end guns(accuracy, aim time). The 20% higher ROF versus the 10-rounds-a-minute of the 85 really allows it to slam out rounds at a crazy rate, and even with the lower gun pen/dmg it just feels so much more effective.

I'll have to play against some Rudy's to see how they stack up, but right now I dont think it would get the playtime that my other T6 tanks would (and thats not even mentioning superstars like the Cromwell/Knight/Snakebite)

My contention exactly.

The novelty of the dog will be the primary selling point. Unless you are a T-34 aficionado and must own all the T-34's much in the same way as I am about Panthers. The 34/88 makes it redundant

T-34-88 has nearly 300 more dpm than the Rudy. That's my reason.

FYI the Rudy does not get the crew xp bonus like the T-34/88. It gets 25 silver and 30 xp bonus.

Exactly.

So why the hell would you want the rudy as a crew trainer when you have the T-34/88 at all;?

You wouldn't. however you would want the Rudy anyway because it is a fun and pretty competitive tank within it's tier. I mean, you can't really go wrong with a premium T-34-85.

War is a Democracy and the enemy always gets a vote.

You wouldn't want the Rudy over the T-34/88 as a crew trainer because... Wait for it...

I know this is going to come as a shock to you, being new and all but...

Buying premiums isn't just about crew training or silver earning potential. Sometimes players buy them because they look like they might be fun to play.
The Rudy has a dog for a crew member. And he barks.

lol you must really hate dogs or something, everytime i see you post your tryin to stop people buying it.

the rudys a good tank, i have it on pc and now i have it here.

not gonna argue about which is better tank but when it comes to new players i feel that the better pen, aim and view range make the rudy easyer to play and getting silver not a bit extra crew xp is much more usefull to newer players.

going on a one man mission to try and put people off buying it is a bad thing and as its noobs that might get taken in by your ranting and they are the ones that would do best getting this over the 88, well you should be ashamed of yourself.
