I'm not seeing much posted about the tier6 sentinal experimental.

Any thoughts good/bad? Is it worth spending gold on?

Others have said it plays like a slightly worse Firefly, but with more gun depression and a really sluggish engine.  I've not had time to try it yet.

Wait for the base bundle as I only got one as got free gold and 6k is expensive for what it is , but game play wise it's a good ridge line sniper and I've only played a few games in it but when played this way on maps with hills does great.
Defo not a frontline tank and needs to play as support or kemp bush and play it as a td, makes not bad silver too.

The closest comparison I can make is: to the AMX CDC. Good gun, decent GD, no armor. That's the way I'm playing it anyway.

If you buy a new tank from a ultimate bundle they basicly come with a free Mastery badge.

Hit points are to be used!

I couldn't tell you if it's good or bad but it seems to play like a worse firefly, I took one down with a Škoda T40 head to head & I won, not sure if that tells you anything.

I have seen like 3 over the weekend. Wonder how the sales of this tank are going?

It's pretty good. Only did 4 battles so far. 2 2.7k damage games as top tier, and two games at bottom tier in a tier 8 match where I did 0 damage because APCR can't pen tier 8s. Honestly, idk why they didn't make it PMM. It can't pen 8s with APCR.

If it had pmm, I'd buy it in a second. I have plenty of decent tanks, and this one seems like a decent tank. It needs to do a little more to get me excited ie pmm. And no the machine gun thing doesn't do it for me.

The sales must be pretty bad because I haven't seen one yet to my knowledge.

It has the wrong hull actually. The bizarrely phallic machine gun was removed to save weight and make room for more ammunition.

I hope to one day be wealthy enough to be considered eccentric rather than just plain nuts.

That's a machine gun? Things fired out of the end of it? Wow. Imagine dying to that.

I have it. It's a good tank, plays just like an alternate Firefly. The 10 degrees of gun depression is really nice.

Slightly lower rate of fire 12 rpm vs 12.77 and slightly worse accuracy .38 vs .37 but otherwise the same. Gun is still very reliable. The tank is faster on flat terrain and downhill but struggles with climbing hills due to the poor engine power the added gun depression is nice, the lack of gun depression was always something I found awkward with the Boilermaker / Firefly.

I really haven't had any issues penning T8 tanks...it has 239mm of APCR pen.

Only played four battles with it so far, but no defeats and three survives. Eight kills, one death.

The gun is very good, not really had any issues penning with it so far - armour's not great - the one time I got taken out it was one shot by a KV-85.

Great supporting/flanking tank.

Small engine - decent top speed but struggles up inclines unless you've built up a decent speed before you start climbing.

All in all though, I like it.

I aim to misbehave
