Yea why not. Not like it will ever beat the other super tanks in tier ten anyway.

Not at all, the tank is amazing already, only beaten by the E5 with regards to being best tier X heavy  but that tank is boring.

ha we don't need another invincible hull down tank.

It is good how it is. Gun handling outmatches all heavies therefore if you keep moving, you'll be alright.

I only have a 48% W/R in it, but I love hte tank.

Leave it as it is. Gun depression + gun handling + RoF + pen + mobility.

You cant have it all.

It seems to be picked off to easily that is why I recommend a armor buff.

It's good, but so situational, only works well hull down on an incline or sniping. It'd be nice to have a hull or turret armour buff. ATm it can't stand up to other tier 10s in open combat because it can't bounce a shot, and dat ammo rack too.

I have been playing it since it came out and I have noticed the turret has gotten weaker so they need to buff it back up or make it to where the hull can actually be used without hull down and it would still be balanced because the sides are weak as can Be and if you want to talk about a imbalanced tank the T110E5 is a unbalanced tank.

If you want it to receive an armor buff than it would need a gun handling or RoF nerf.

If you want it to have tier ten heavy tank armor it would need to have a massive nerf to its gun. It has a better gun than the medium tanks with crazy DPM. If armor is what you are looking for then don't play the Chieftan. That's just not the role meant for it.

Due to the dpm, high pen and amazing gun control it has it could probably go toe to toe with plenty of the tier Xs in a 1v1 open combat duel and win tbh. It's one of the tanks i take a note of when i see it on the reds.

1v1 yes it does well but in game 1v1s are very rare, there is usually supporting fire and that is where chieftan loses out, the hull can't bounce anything so when in the open you will be taken apart in seconds, it'd just be nice to have a little armour so that not every hit on the hull is an auto pen.

If the armour gets buffed it would need a dpm nerf. You can't have it all.

If you think the chieftain needs a buff, it might mean you just arnt good at support heavies and should play something like an E5 instead.

It isn't meant to use any armour except the turret. It's role is hull down support, which it is the best tank in the game at as nothing can withstand it for long. It is the supporting fire.  Any armour buff would make it completely OP. A Chieftain shouldn't be getting caught on open ground, it's got a very low profile, even a small undulation enables it to become a fortress.

Not when it is on a map where it has to move around to help the team and its getting nailed by arty.

I am plenty good with the MK6 but it's turret gets creamed by arty and premium ammo and the hull is only good at hull down even then it gets penned.

It does that very well, iv held off several tanks at once in a spot, it just ends up in a delicate situation, one quick flanker can end you in a chieftan.

Bullcrap arty has a hard on for tanks I try and get MoE on and arty priorities stationary targets which you have to be stationary to be hull down so don't give me that S$&@

Well if would be nice if it had 120mm of hull armor like it did in real life

Maybe you should consider why the devs decided to reduce the hull armour of what was the best-protected tank in the world, first entering service a decade after half the rest of its tier did.
