Could a WG staffer sound off on this please

 

Why aren't the loading screens being used to promote the forums. We have all been the new tanker struggling to figure out this game and improve our experience, yet there is almost no advertisement of the forums in the game. Why not have one screen where it simply promotes the forums? A repetitious screen stating there is a place to get help and improve your game could really go along way.

 

Need help? Want to improve your game? Need some tips on how to use a tank or navigate a map? Want to share an epic battle with your fellow tankers? Come to the forums! 

 

The forums are probably the greatest resource to improving anyone's experience in this game, but the lack of assistance to get people to come and use the forums is hindering everyone's experience. 

 

Could we see something implemented please?

It's kind of absurd that the game doesn't promote it's own official forums.

If they really wanted to help their players they'd skip the official forum and include a link to The Bunker.

There are some helpful threads on the forums and answers to questions can be found, and many experienced players are generous with some information.

However, there is a whole bunch of salt and crabbiness- not sure I'd want a new player exposed to some of these threads.

In fact, I think there are actually some organizations that are simply just shutting down their official forums.  Random and anonymous allows some lonely, angry people to have a voice.

I thought they do promote the forum in game? On the loading screen it's normally at the bottom of the update list I think.

Its easy to wade through the salt and find the helpful threads. It might be more appealing to some newbies to know that they aren't alone in their frustrations and can commiserate with fellow tankers

The fact that you said 'I think' also helps the argument that we need something better and more apparent than what we currently have . The 5 pages of very basic info that you can scroll through as a map loads could also have a sixth page that purely promotes the forums and bunker. The fact that you said 'I think' also helps the argument that we need something better and more apparent than what we currently have . I don't think they'd advertise The Bunker lol, also many people consider the forum to be one of the worst aspects of the game so there are people who think they shouldn't advertise it at all. Not to mention no other game advertises their own forum/reddit.

I agree. Promote the forums instead of selling tanks. I know where the store is in the game. The store tab with the star on it that doesn't go away anymore after you looked all the tanks for sale.

I'll prefer to see a lineup of the tanks who are up to participate on both sides on the battle instead of more useless info at the loading of the battle, just like in PC (And somehow is one of those things that never happen to appear)

The OP has a good idea, but I would be careful - the forum is more like walk of shame than quality sign of the WG. Much work awaits WG.
