In light of several new editions (as well as the reaction to them), I'm curious to see what you fellows would prefer to see in the designs and future concepts. Any thoughts?

Historical / realistic based or a flag based / patriotic design? On the detail side at least it would look good in the nato 3 colour & nets, as well as the searchlight box over the mantlet.

I would like to see my wife in different skin shades so I can feel like I took an exotic tour around the world without ever being with anyone else but her. :B

...you probably didn't mean that though:trollface:

Historic skins for me, things like the Cromwell B and such. Theoretical skins for non service tanks are fine too, but like the Huntsman is just silly because they've just taken a 50s vehicle and stuck modern 00s camo on it.

Of course the issue with this is that you're being charged money for a TT tank, so they should at least always get a good bonus to compensate.

Historical reskins, stuff along the lines of the M51 Super Sherman, the Boilermaker, AC4 Sentinel, etc.

And less embarrassments like the T25 Vengeance,The Hammer, the total failure that was the Black Edition tanks, the super lazy Captured KV-1, the childish Monster tanks, and the extremely tacky Flag tanks.

Why did the US and USSR need the "Vengeance" and the "Fatherland" when those two nations already had flag tanks?

What if someone wanted the actual T25 Pilot and IS-3A ? ya know minus the tacky camo ?

WG thinks majority of it's player base is 12 years old.

And all the reskinned tanks are way overpriced and total cash grabs.

The Huntsman is ridiculous cash grab geared towards CoD players, people who have zero appreciation for history, and little kids....that's the only reason I could think of why WG decided to put modern camo on a tank that's over 65 years old.

Couldn't agree more!

I really like the historic skins, tanks that look like they've been in combat! That's why I liked the Dark Horse tanks, all looked well used, even if some of them did have unhistoric guns.

I could deal with it, if they give us the choice to put on any camo we want!

Tanks for nations that actually need premiums.

Chinese and Japanese Sherman and Stuarts when?

You can PM with with questions, if you wish. I don't bite.

Japanese and Chinese would be a good start, since they don't have have any or flag tanks. And not just a reskin of a current premium...maybe a tech tree tank.

Beware the Banshee Comet! According to Irish folklore, a Banshee is a ghost-like creature that wails (keens) to warn you of your impending death. However on the battlefield, the last screams you hear will be your own!

NOTE - I am taking a temporary leave from playing World of Tanks due to certain family obligations. I hope to see many of you back out in battle soon!

Heh, sounds like it could be someone with a multi pigment skin condition... or a chameleon.

So what we're feeling is a historic embellishment angle,  not so gaudy & pandering. The black ones wouldn't look so weird without the trim & emblems one them, they'd look pretty good actually.

Kinda like the Legion, just paint over the chrome with matte black.

As I said a thousand times before, I'm all in for historical tanks/skins.
Fury, Tiger 131, StuG III Hidden, IS-2, Churchill VII British Bulldog, Firefly Boilermaker, T-34-85 Rudy, Churchill III are tanks that I bought (or earned) due to historical likeliness.

Best part is I don't even play Blitz, I just like to see what neat skins they have.   Ridiculous Sci FI tanks?  Only one I know of is the Tankenstein, and they can keep that abomination.

Some wouldn't be bad though; Japanese PZ IV, Chi-Nu Kai Shinobi and the Type 62.
