I would like it when I open up the big map to mute people who have mics that are annoying or just talking in general, the movement between names is noticeably slower so I could press the down button 2-3 times before it moves once where as before it was a lot quicker.

O.k. in General I think most off the sound files are corrupted or just plain broke.lots of my friends complaining of bad engine sounds sounding like electric cart. Broken gun sounds and the one that drive me nuts was the overly loud sound of metal on metal from tanks half a map away. Basicly sound is now broken. Bad new compresion maybe???

Ardennes summer is actually nice. And I hate the winter version. Engine sounds are good but feels off with the guns still sounding the same. Just keep at it with the sound updates for this month so we can have a more complete package.

One of the few good things to come out of this update, IMO. Although, I do enjoy driving my Löwe again.

Seems like a lot of the bugs with sounds being muffled have been corrected.  Maybe I just got used to it but the garage doesn't seem so loud now.

 

Edit:  One exception, if I don't move from the spawn in about 15 seconds all the engine sounds become muffled.

 

And thank you for fixing the effects for running over trees, poles, and fences.  Finally good to hear those sounds after roughly six months of silence!

Why does my 6x crew boosts say expire in 88 days in ops .. also game crashes in garage . Engine sounds disappear in sniper mode when in the lowe also it sounds like the radiator fan is hitting the fan shroud and did you guys put stones in the hubcaps sound terrible .. its like having two glass bottles clanking around on the passenger footwell ..

Please can WG give us an answer if this is indeed an error.

as we don't believe the x6's (or any boosts) should have an expiry limit.

As a whole the update is great. Love the new marks on camo, the platoon interface and the minor audio changes. However there is on thing that stuck me that i didnt like. Just bougjt myself the WZ-132 and went to the camos. I dont like that they history of the camo has been removed. Personally i think there should be more history in the game for exampe more in depth hisrtoy of tanks that could be accessed in a tab when you hit triangle or Y. This should be accessible even after you buy a tank. Not just when you look at tanks you dont own

Fail platoons will probably be around for many many months or longer. They have to change the entire MM algorithm to do that. It's been confirmed  in a live stream that they are looking into changing it though! Remember, if WoTs console decides to implement something from PC it usually doesn't hit us until 3-6mos to 1 year or more later.

Any update on when we can expect a fix to the excessively loud engines for the tanks when they're in the garage and in battle?  Thanks in advance.

The engine of my St. Emil tier 7 German tank destroyer sounds so loud.  Other tanks are the same and the audio seems to cut in and out.  One minute a tank engine sound will be deafening and then the next it sounds very muffled, as if it's underwater.

What have you done to the audio in the latest 3.8 update?
I am so sick of being severely damaged or killed outright, by artillery that have been shooting at my general area but there is NO INCOMING SHELL NOISE OR EXPLOSIONS!!!

 

I can hardly hear my tank run and most things sound "tinny".
Add to that, the over amplified bird,frog rooster and even swarms of bees, then it is getting ridiculous 
So many people are complaining, but I haven't seen ONE reply from WG
Please respond with some good news about fixing this stuff up ( especially the artillery silence)
PS. This is on PS4, run through a Samsung TV

I second these.

Faster scrolling through the player list when trying to mute someone was better/more efficient and the camo histories were interesting and could help to make your decision.

Download took 15 hours, I did not know that it was a download of the entire game changing from 47 GB to 36 GB. Making for a lot of lost game time and (Premium Time that was paid for). When I started to play the game the sound system was all messed up. I had to reset my sounds settings which took me a long time because of having Sound Sensitivity and hearing loss due to a constant ringing in my ears (a lot of people have this type of hearing problem as well as military personnel). Makes the game difficult to play with new sound engine, my understanding is that this was done so that new sounds could be created, ect. In one game I died where there was a swarm of bees, that scared the hell out of me due to the fact that I had been chased by killer bees two years ago. Also on war maps you can hear big planes in the distance but the small planes no longer make any noise.( kind of ruins the war map experience.) Talking while in a platoon cuts in and out a lot or drops your audio completely from the platoon. I found that if you turn your controller off and turn it back on it seems to work again. When in a platoon you have to play online before you could play offline, I don't know why this was changed. I started playing the summer of 2014, on xbox 360 and now I play Xbox one. I've gone through a lot of updates in that time. Since October of 2016 I have noticed that there are a lot more bugs and problems with updates. Also I have had issues with gold tanks not working properly. There was a cross training crew problem and I had fixed it but now I have the problem again ( I sent in a ticket I hope it can be resolved.).
