Aren't we all just "a target for the other team"? I don't know why we can't all meet at the top of lighthouse and have ourselves a friendly little picnic? Sorry, I couldn't resist.... :veryhappy:

the only way you get more than a 3 tier spread is if you're driving a light with scout matchmaking

Stop driving the Luchs, Chaffee, Leopard, Pz 38 Na or M5 Stuart. They all get +4 or higher

You can PM with with questions, if you wish. I don't bite.

Well for one thing  most of the BETA players received tier 5 tanks, those who came late in the beta missed out on some reward tanks and contests, and since we have been building up since Aug,  its kinda really hard to back to tier 1,  lol.... so we have all started with our reward tanks, but fear not young jedi, keep playing hard and you'll be up there

It's not hard to go back to tier 1 when those reward tanks are a joke for their tier... My Stug Hetzer and even the marder II ripped through T14's... Quit whining about losing your tanks and get them back....

Must admit I do mourn for the loss (upcoming) of my Valentine when i spot the 5x T14 on the other side.

Hopefully my AT2 / AT8 based revenge will be sweet.

Haven't had too many matches when my tier 3 Tank or TD has been put in with tier 6 tanks, but it has happened. I did spot a tier 1 in a tier 5 match yesterday - I didn't fancy his chances much.

On this... It happens with everyone and their brother refusing to play anything but the T14 and Ram II...

I find that when my vehicle is matched closely with enemy vehicles, the game is more competitive.  The enemy can be taken out just as easily as your vehicle.  As a consequence, there may be a tad more tactics, perhaps caution involved as the vehicles move.  In contrast, the mismatched game, is a "bull in the China shop" kind of game, where the higher tiers just rumble along taking out lower tier foes with ease--like swatting at pesky gnats.  Victories are hard to come by when your vehicle is outclassed by higher tiered ones and survival is nearly impossible--you expect early destruction.  One can run, but there's no good place to hide.  :hiding:

With the Panzer 38 (t) nA, I've been fielding, rounds simply bounce off the enemy. Later, I am rewarded with "Sharpshooter" but reflecting zero (0) damage.  Destroying another vehicle is purely happenstance.  I recorded a "victory" against another tank yesterday with a score of (1) for damage.  Of course this means the target was nearly toast when my round hit it.

Bottom line: Closely matched games are better.

you guys need to face facts, you're not always going to be top tier, doesn't mean you're not getting fair matchmaking, in fact until you reach tier 10 you will never be top dog all the time. having a top tier tank doesn't make the match any easier tho, i think people should stop acting like this is a race to the 10s, find a tank you enjoy playing and get good with it, learn its strengths and weaknesses and work with them.

I'm partial to the m4, not the jumbo or the premium, the plain vanilla m4. it rarely sees top matchmaking, in fact it will be matched with tigers and t29s on a regular basis, however it is still possible for the m4 to do well in a tier 7 game.

The only way you see tier 7s on the TDs you play is if your platoon has a tier 5 or above. It's called a fail platoon. Because it fails.
