Is it just me or whenever I activate my camo the detectability range circle (the big broken blue line circle) shrinks? Why does this happen? Or is it my binos I also have equipped that do this? (That's quite contradicting though if ever)

If you got binos fitted, when you are static you will see the blue cone shrink as soon as you move your chassis, this is not affected by turret movement though.

Your camo is affected the same way and shrinks accordingly.

Correct. The camo net increases your camouflage values making it harder for the enemy to detect you so it shrinks. The detectability range is showing at what point the enemy can detect you.

Your binoculars increase your view range which increases your ability to detect the enemy. This is represented by the View Cone. The triangle shaped one
