No prem tanks for this. I have a brand new crew. and I need to stop somewhere and grind a crew with at least a few perks.

So far I like the 24, quick grind though. I think the pen and speed of this one will be fun. The 25, however seems to sport the same gun - except I read it's an autoloader. Scared of the Pen vs tier 8s and not much for armor (and looks kinda boxy target).

I think the speed and pen will work quicker for training at tier 5 with the 24?

Also was undecided about optics or GLD for the 24, went with GLD (plus rammer and vents).

Input please...... thx

I use Skoda T 25 to currently train a crew for the tier X tank and it is an amazing vehicle. However I feel like it needs quite a lot of prammo especially against tier VIIIs and therefore I'm runnning half and half ap/apcr. With my choice of added food I'm definitely not making credits but I do have quite a lot of success with it no matter what. One of the most enjoyable tier VI tanks I've played.

Maybe I will at least get 6th sense and BIA first, then sit on the T 25 for awhile.

I go with vents, rammer and optics and run pretty much the same equipment combo on all my tanks up to tier X T50/51. There are 2 premiums the Ziizka T40 and a regular T 40 but unfortunately none of them are for sale and haven't been that for a long time. I think it's smart to train up crew in the T24 or T25 in lack of a premium tank. Sure hope WG will have them in store soon and hopefully another one to.

i wish you good luck and remember the grinding can be hard but it's worth it when you reach top gun package and the 50 and 50/51.

The only grind I gave up on was the Grant, after the US =. Brutal

T24 isn't terrible and I trained a single skill before upgrading. The T25 was a lot of fun with the auto loader and I ended up training 2 additional skills before moving the crew. I got a mastery in it, in a tier 8 match.

I was in the right place at the right time I guess. It was on Airfield and I sat in the E5 area and sniped quite a bit. Think I ended up with ~2,600 or so dmg.

I was quite surprised myself.

I'd go with the T 25. With the autoloaders is easy to get some damage on most games. Once you get the hang of it you can get good games often even without skills.

I moved the crew up the line, and I'm training a new one in the T 25 without problems. Now training 4th skill. This tank is a keeper.

The lack of training tanks is a reason why the Pz.Kpfw. T 15 and the Pz.Kpfw. T 25 German Premium tanks need to be changed over to dual nation trainers and reissued as a bundle for those wanting to work on the Czech line. This has been suggested before but a curious lack of feedback from WG has resulted. If WG won't change those two German Premiums to dual nation status, they should give the Žižka Škoda T 40 an extra crew xp bonus like Vengeance T25, the T-34-88 or the Legion 59-Patton and then reissue the Žižka Škoda T 40 for sale.

For right now, the T25 with the auto is best. Once they have 6th sense, brothers in arms and snap shot, I'd move up the tree after over training.

T25 definitely, tier 8 games will be hard but not impossible, managed 2400 damage and 1000 spotting in one of them...effortlessly reached 90% dmg standing in under 100 games but since i mostly just first win it recently it's stagnating at 89-91%.
Be aware of the horrible turning speed and terrible camo though

Use the T24 to get SS. After that send them to the T25 as that will garner better XP.

WG did no favors to players wanting to do the Czech line withholding the T-40 from the TT.

On console, it is the only line without a TT premium and that is a tad ridiculous...

I was fortunate to get a T-40 when it was sold stand alone for an ok, not good, but ok price...

I had enough free XP to go straight to the ST vz. 39 fully upgraded. I am trying to train the crew in it but it is going very painfully. Is the 39 the stinker of the bunch? Since I don't plan on keeping it, I am running sellable equipment (camo, binocs, toolbox) which makes it even worse to play with. Do I just free XP past it or does it get better once the crew is trained with at least SS and should I waste the money on proper equipment?

I really have my eyes on the T 25 but there are a few other tanks in the line that also seem good.

Any tips on how to play the 39? In tier VI battles, it's not of much use no matter how you play it and in tier IV battles, I seem to get owned by yoloing lights.

Stats? We don't need no stinking stats.

I went through the 39 as quick as possible. Couldn't stand the track traverse.

Train up SS on the T24. It's a pretty good general tank. Quick, no armor. Forces you to play smart.
The reload isn't terribly fast and the aim time is a bit sluggish. Avoid dpm situations where you have to face other mediums head-on.
Trading is better. Peeking and making them miss is better yet. Shooting targets that aren't looking your way is best.

I did Rammer / GLD / Vents on the T24 to make the gun handling as good as possible.

When you decide to move to the T-25, get the top package with the auto-loader ASAP. Then you can peek-and-clip targets three shots at a time.
Stat masturbation:

Wargaming,  when are you going to sell the T40 again?

i actually thought the LT vs 38 was a pretty good overall light and i was gonna try to train with it everything was great but couldn't get enough exp in low tier battles to make it worthwhile so decided to move up. skipped the for and I wish I had skipped the 5 now to the six.  the 5 is so pain full and I thought the zoom was bad on my t-34 russian tank.  That thing is god compared to the tier 5 skoda.  Almost done with it though and will try the tier 6.  My biggest problem is I wish they would tell you when a gun is an autoloader and not in the tech tree.  Would help a lot I think.  I have to say though overall so far I don't see anything in the line that makes me think ooo  i need to keep this over any other tank i have.  Maybe it will get better at tier 9 or 10 but I have visions of my t54e1 again where your only good as a support tank and if you can find decent people to take lead.z

Currently I grind on T-IX on Czech line. But because I'll keep the T-IX, I'll need another crew for T-X.

So I use Skoda T25 for fresh crew training. It's not that bad even with fresh crew. I've even got the 1-st MoE with this crew, without SS (and I also use it without premium consumables and only with the sellable equipment on it - cammo, binocs and toolbox)... lol. And of course with enough premium ammo. But when I get at least SS it would be quite better.

Don't rush me, I'm waiting for the last moment!

I liked the T24 for crew training, one of my pitifully few 2 MoE tanks.
