After a handful of games (16) the impressions are a mixed back. Aimtime/dispersion are a negative, same with gun depression. If you are familiar with the TT Charioteer, you know what to expect. A fragile fast machine with poor armor, hitpoints, viewrange and turret traverse.
Biggest Pros: Camo seems to be a factor, the high ROF (4.8 secs reload with Rammer, BIA and pudding, no vents) is nice for finishing off wounded deer and if you miss a shot, the next one follows fast. You don't sit around waiting 8.5 secs like in the TT Charioteer. Pen/Goldpen are workable even in TIer X battles. Low shell cost and many hits due to high ROF and okay pen: Big $$$.
Biggest Cons: Besides armor, hitpoints, dispersion on the move, low alpha and gun depression: 35 rounds ammo capacity is waaaay to low with a high ROF. Please add at least 5 shells, WGA!
So far I've been doin good, even better than in the TT Charioteer. But I wait for at least 100 battles for a final conclusion. On paper the Vindicator is a poor Premium TD, a nerfed version of a TT tank with high skill ceiling. In the wrong hands it's a speedy coffin. It's way too expensive. It will be a very rare tank on the battlefield.
Disclaimer: I play the Vindicator with 15/20/0 ammo load, binos, camo net, rammer, prem med/rep/food and a highly skilled crew incl. SS, BIA, snakebite, all camo and viewrange skills, repair, smooth ride, snap shot, off-road driving.
