Hope you are wrong but I have to admit that the evidence point in the direction you just described.

I do too, I want this game to continue and thrive, but it seems that the Devs are hell bent on running this game into the ground at every opportunity they can get.

I cannot agree more.

there is a reason WoT is not in any pro gameing circuit... no major cash tournaments... ...   it has elaments of p2w.. this is not even debatable its known fact.

Wow I didn't know that, it really proves the point for all those WG fanboys that say it's not. BTW where did they all go they usually would be all over this?

I still like to play and understand the game's profit motive but once again that really proves the point of many players being p2w, more like "PAY FOR ADVANTAGE" though really you still need some skill of course. Still the way it's set up makes it completely unfair on a pro gaming circuit without major restrictions to so many player options during the match.:sceptic:

is it truly pay to win, no because you may be 1 of 15 and carrying a game as one person is not easy

pay for advantage, possibly due to preferential match making; however, this doesnt mean the user has any skill so that advantage may be minimal

the level of pay is also dependent on if people buy or "win" the tank - for example the fatherland could be won or bought

paying is also dependent on if you pay with silver or gold - paying with silver to me at least is not paying anything

overall I would say in the hands of a skilled player or a platoon of skilled players many tanks can seem OP

All I will say is this: I have a friend with a 40.44% accuracy, .60 DD/DR and a 47%-ish winrate. The ONLY tanks he excels in are the Tiger 131, Bogatyr and PZ B2. I told him to buy these tanks because I knew even he couldn't completely suck in them. I own both and they are, perhaps not op, but pretty much as close as it gets.

I thought that it had something to do with the maps.  That is why we have Ghost town.  If I am not mistaken, some map spawns have a better win rate then others.

There are a few tanks that most players do poorly in that I (and some other good players) do well in.  The little Pz.Kpfw. 38 (t) seems to be a source of frustration for most players, but it's one of my favorite tanks.  No-one believes it's overpowered, some people just play it well, while most do not.

Contrast this with the mythical US Sexton, which has the best stats for its tier in almost every category except for accuracy: it does the most damage, it has the highest win rate, it kills the most tanks.  It is common to see an average/mediocre player who only has unicum stats in the US Sexton.  This is a clear example of a pay-to-win tank.

There are many tanks in the middle, including most premium tanks.  It is much more common to find "broken" tanks that only excel under certain conditions (like the WT, capable of enormous damage, but easy to spot, with a long reload, and forced to expose its weakest spot every time it fires) than P2W tanks.

I just purchased the PZ38 T last night in hopes of training a crew for the Maus line. (I plan on unlocking every German tank on XBOX.).

This thing is a BEAST. It's my new favourite seal clubber  I mean, crew trainer

I love the thing.  Not uncommon for me to do the most damage, even in tier 5 games.

...but it's also easy to find posts online complaining about it!

Are underpowered premium tanks pay to lose? (Vindicator, Stug IV, ISU 130, Kraft Panther, Legion Patton, Kanonenjagdpanzer, Vanquisher...).

There are some OP and also some UP premiums. So is WOT also a P2L game?

My StuG IV got a Radley-Walters' on its maiden voyage so I guess I paid to win that time :D

Ha! Had the same experience. First game in the Stug IV, Prokhorowka, 3k damage, 8 kills. But I know that trick. They let you win, hook you up and then comes the bill...
