As above that's my proposition to make people actually be active if they don't want to be penalized. As a heavy and medium tank player it pains me to see heavy tanks that just sit at base and do nothing. Maybe we just make penalty for all tanks that sit at base.

I say tanks self-destructs after 2 mins if they haven't moved at least 200m from the base area.

Oh wait, I forgot, I'd be the only left on my team. :izmena:

Some tanks would struggle to move 200m in 2 minutes, especially if there was a hill involved.

So we can punish arty who dont relocate aswell? Also every base camping TD?

Everyone would quit the game in a month.

Are we talking all Heavy's or only Top Tier Heavy's?

Speaking of top tier heavies: I just can't fathom grinding out heavies just to sit back and camp. It's beyond comprehension.

All WG needs to do is give some incentive to play a class of tank correctly.  I mentioned this before.  As an example.  It could be so simple as .25% crew xp for moving forward 4 grid squares.  .50% xp  if you moved over forward 5 grid squares

It was more or less a joke. I've gotten used to the camping heavies, arties, scouts and TDs. I try not to let it affect my game because it is what it is... which is sad nonetheless.

The thing that really gets me is most battles are won or lost in the first 30 seconds to 1 minute because so many players waste so much time at the base trying to decide where to go when the game starts that one team will get an advantage with map control before the other team even knows what they are doing. I can't tell you how many games I've predicted correctly as a loss based on the first 30 seconds of where the team deploys or, conversely, doesn't deploy.

I think your ISP is playing tricks on you.

OR... The base camp area could be made visible to arty .... people aren't going to camp with arty raining shells on them.  Don't move don't live..

I hear ya but check their Tier.  Not much is gained plowing a Tier VIII on point while the Tier X pitch their tents.  I got fan mail from an E100 because I wasn't scouting to his desired expectation in my freakin' T28.  That was the only time I thought about just putting my tank in a lake and simply firing up another......

If I'm totally outgunned, I won't camp (boring) but I've slowed down a bunch on being the idiot that heads to the kill zone with just a light for assistance while the high tier boys cook weenies on their campfire.

It's usually the top tier heavys that camp at base and more precisely tanks like the Japanese heavies or the German ones I can't fathom why.

You mean the stain on the ground where this horse was?  The original horse is long gone beaten into bits to small to id.

Omg.  You realize we have ops offering that much of an incentive.  Tonight earning a confederate medal gives a .25 bonus, or placing in the top 3 xp earners on your team, or destring a module excluding tracks, or destroy a heavy tank in a heavy tank.  You propose moving should grant the same bonus?  Every game?  Ops usually have a limited amount of times you can earn them.
