I think the nerfs to the nameless were too harsh and should have at least 7 degrees over the side of the vehicle. maybe even lower the top speed to 40 kmh to balance it out if it got a gun depression buff.

I'd happily trade some speed for a gun depression buff. It's absolutely brutal trying to play this tank, as it's so tall and so limited in depression that it can be difficult to fight anything that is not on level ground with you. If you're on even the slightest uphill slope or uneven ground it's very difficult to hit anything. Personally I think they went overboard with the nerfs after seeing the reaction to the (admittedly OP) PC version.
Buff the Maus and the Type 5 Heavy.

I second this wargaming. Less speed more depression there is nothing more depressing about this tank than it's lack there of. it's as tall as a Maus THINK ABOUT THAT. it's gun is placed so high up on the hull. It's actual gun depression is more like 3 degrees imo. It's so annoying. Other than that armor is good. Bounce a full AP clip from a waffle (:

Gun depression needs buff on this tank. Now EVERY tank which can get close enough to Nameless is untouchable... even not counting the terrain where every little inclination means that the gun shots to the sky. It's ridiculous

Had two tanks a block away from me in a city and I could not aim below the very tops of their turrets! This needs to be fixed.

If WG buffs the gun depression they should nerf another component of the tank.

Don't really see why.

I think the tank is fine as is because I can still easily average 3k in it without much trouble, but the gun depression change wasn't really needed, it seemed to be just a spur of the moment.

The other changes somewhat made sense since the whole thing was a desperate attempt to try to save face because they were worried people would get upset at it being released as it was since QB said it was OP as he failed in it and the Edelweiss on the PC Asia Server.

But the Gun Depression was only ever on the sides, by playing in a way so as to use it you would be mitigating the strengths of the tank that is the frontal armour, so it would be taking a risk for the reward of pointing your gun slightly further down.

So i bought the nameless and i quite enjoy it even with the crappy depression. Its all about positioning and effective use of the armor. I still find the depression annoying but feel that the tank is still really strong. It has great top speed, good dpm and pen, excellent armor but subpar hull/turret traverse, view range, and depression. It is still fun to play :)

You people should research what you are buying. When the tank is in the store, you can hit the Y button and view the tank's details, armour and modules. Go moduloes, and select the gun. It tells you the accuracy, aim time, elevation and depression. If you go on tankopedia, you can also find out the matchmaking and bonuses. I have never bought a bogus tank because I research what I am buying. If you don't understand what these things mean, you need to grind through some lower tier tanks, (specifically Russian and Chinese tanks) and you'll soon find out what poor gun depression means. Use your heads people.

You don't know what you want. If you were daft enough to buy the thing in the first place, you clearly don't know what you want.

So you state that it's dumb to buy this "thing" because it's OP? Clever logic.

I didn't say it was op I said it is strong as it is. It's daft to buy because it's expensive, gets crap bonuses and no pmm.

I'm still loving the juicy silver bonus and bounces/speed gun depression is fine/workable just be careful where you go over hills etc.... I don't play it much lately due to other tanks needing grinds but it's still a great tank if not a supporting one.

...You guys realize it has 8 degrees over the side of the tank, right? Yes, it has no armor over the side of the tank, but that's where your gun depression is. It's only 5 degrees over the front of the tank. What do you want, 10 degrees over the front; make the armor even more stupid than it already is?

I can help you win a match. Just don't expect me to survive it.
