So I've just got my VK 28.01 fully upgraded and I'm trying to figure out what the best gun is. I'm leaning towards the 7.5 cm since the 10.5 cm struggles a lot more in higher tier battles. I started out with the 10.5 cm and had a hard time finding anything I could damage. Then I switched to the 7.5 cm and the first game I ran straight in to the reds VK 28.01 who was sporting the 10.5 cm. Dang the luck. But then the next few games were not too bad.

Anyone have an opinion on how good the VK 28.01 is? I think my T37, T21 and MT-25 are much better but I've only got 9 battles in so maybe it will get better. But I do think it is a bit better than the AMX 12t.

So far, I am doing horrible in the tank but I also have a non fully trained crew.

I ran the 10,5 and just spammed HE at everything. You get that cannon on the side of a T28 Prototype or AMX TD and you'll have a field day.

I forgot to put in a complaint about arty, maps or matchmaking so here goes. Matchmaking, arty and maps suck. You all can feel free to post since it's now a legitimate WoT thread.

Just haven't had those lucky scenarios. But I may switch back to the 10.5 cm. Not sure how to start the battle in it. Run out at the start and spot or wait up a bit and see how the team spreads out. The reload time on the 10.5 cm gets me in trouble sometimes plus I haven't had too many supportive teams yet.

I went with the derp gun and 3 marked it using it.

You need to be patient with this gun and take every open opportunity you can. Look to sneak up on tanks that are engaged and get behind them to get the most damage output you can do. It's great for tracking enemies so do your best to get that shot in first at the track then use the mobility to circle them but hold your shots for the rear.

Train up the camo perks.

Rammer, vents and optics.

Don't remember the ammo load out I used.

A scout with a derp gun? Why do you even ask?

I bought myself through to the 7,5 cm top gun, made ace tanker, switched to the derp gun shortly thereafter and never looked back. It's like a T59, but at tier VI, except that you don't have to wait half a game for a reload. It's excellent for counter-scouting and very good for tracking heavies.

So I have to try derp :justwait:

Hated it when I was a newbie, now it's one of my favorites with 3 marks. I use the 10.5cm with Rammer Optics & Vents. Must have a good crew though. 6th, BIA, Camo, Clutchbreak because the traverse is not good for a light, Offroad Drivng. With those it becomes a different tank. Then the view range and gunhandling skills, and controlled impact as it's good at ramming, but the first five help the most imo. Halfcourt spot, get undetected so you can aim in on targets you want to track, half court scout some more, derp yolo higher tier scouts & mediums that think you'll be an easy kill, ambush reds on their last legs.
