Rof, gun handling stats, depression, view range, mobility... you could improve any one of these to change it from mediocre to good but since the tier 9 and 10 are so good, I don't imagine wargaming are on any great hurry to improve this or the tier 8.

I just got to mine, I really wanna know how it was put into the game as is, my second game with an 80% crew, vents, rammer, and toolbox. I did manage to do 2k damage while being top tier, but I was getting wrecked by T5 tanks. T5 tanks are better than the T-34/100 is STOCK. Bad armor, bad weapon, bad handling, bad RoF, bad DPM... I've played the T-34 so much already that I'm starting to get sick of it. so having a bajillion different versions is really testing my patience.

The T-34/100 as-is would be pretty good as a T6 tank, but not a T7, no way in hell.

If at first you don't succeed, redefine success.

Strange cause i actully liked this tank and kept it along with the tier 6,9 and x . The high alpha made it quiet deadly imo.

How is it this Tier 7 T-34 gets stuck with a max of 520 horsepower when all Tier 6 T-34's and Tier 7 T-43 get 600hp? The Czecks couldn't afford to buy the better engine from the Soviets? 20hp is a horrible spread of engine upgrades on a T7 medium.

No armor for the tier, crap mobility and gun handling though good pen for the top gun. Tier 7 mediums have mostly sucked but this is a new level.

I very likely won't waste XP on upgrades and just grind past it and sell as soon as possible. Love my T-34's except this thing.

When outfitted as a second line sniper (rammer, GLD, vents), it's pretty trash with the 85mm gun. It's the same stock gun, basically, as the T-43, which I also remember hating the stock grind for.

I'm thinking of outfitting this tank like the Skoda T24/25, with Optics, so it can play as a sort of heavy scout, but it's so slow.

Sure, mobility sacrificed for firepower but...

It's trash. It doesn't move.

The T-43 gets the T-34-85's V-54K engine, and the A-44 (also tier 7) also gets a 600hp engine, and also its own 100mm gun (107mm).

I get there's an argument for being "different" - the LT vz 38 trades the Pz38t's high-power engine for an autoloaded weapon, but...

Grinding out the 100mm gun is pretty painful. I can only hope it comes into its own with that. 126mm AP pen against tier 8s is not fun.
