Greetings fellow tank commanders! I had an epic game with the O-Ho and wanted to share it, 2709 Base XP, 6.5k+ Damage, and 10 kills I really couldn't believe the Base XP, probably the highest I have ever gotten! I was thrilled to get a Pools Medal, it had been a long time since I got one.

I have had a great start to the On Track and looking forward to the tier 9s. How is everyone fairing with all the 15cm derp cannons out there? The forecast is calling for a lot more HE shells before this event is done!

Awesome game i can say that RNG was with you and you were very lucky about those 10 kills  

When i saw you got 1st class for this kind of game i am sure that ace tankers are bugged or something.

2709 base and no ace tanker? They need to fix that asap.

Great game OP. Just bought the Ho-Ho myself. Had the derp researched so went straight to that and got a Top gun first game. Get the feeling it will struggle against 10s though....and multiple arty.

Thank you! RNG was definitely on my side that game, everything went right for a whole game I hope they do fix it soon, cause I always like to get an Ace Tanker before I sell a tank and I don't think I can do too much better than that, but maybe if there were 10 AFK tier 10 waffles...

Thanks The Japanese line is fun to play but the tanks are a bit sluggish and the guns unwieldy. If you are patient and don't overextend too early you can have great success with the tanks. I also have two O-Ni videos on my channel you might like:

Thanks. Sounds like you are doing well with it. When you get the O-Ho beware that the gun depression is awkward with the machine gun turrets offset to the left side of the tanks. Good luck!

Once they fix the obvious bug they really need to go back and check for things like this and award M badge.... That's a once in a lifetime performance for any one tank.

I had a dozen or so games in my O-Ho today and yesterday. Most of them were good games, but a few games were awful due to lemming trains or just having downright terrible team mates.

 

The only thing i dislike about the O-Ho is its terrible frontal gun depression, like seriously it gets me so angry sometimes, even aiming down a mostly flat street can be problematic. Should just remove the mini turrets or at least position them so that -10 of depression can be used front on. Mini rant aside, having a 15s reload with the 150mm is nice and can even be a threat to tier 9s and 10s.

Thanks! I find that all of the Japanese heavy tanks struggle when bottom tier since they are so big it is hard to work around your higher tier teammates, this is especially true for the O-Ho because of the unusual gun depression and fighting tier 10 TD's you really only make one mistake and you're dead! I definitely recommend equipping a spall liner since your right it is an arty magnet, and I encountered 3 games on the NA East server last night with 5 arty on each team. Everyone was just hunting the Japanese heavies so I switched to NA West, there weren't as many head hunters there! Good luck on your grind with the O-Ho and congrats on such a successful first game

I agree! Such a shame, I really enjoyed the tank and would have liked an Ace Tanker on it before moving on with the line.
