Hello tankers!!!

 

Two new maps join the rotation!!!

 

Pilsen

This anticipated map arrives featuring interior factory buildings and a maze of construction equipment.  There are many overhanging pipelines that can block the shots of artillery!

 

Redshire 1944

An alternate history version of Redshire makes its way into rotation! This 1944 timeline features a new castle area in the west and new terrain layout in the east with new flanking options.

Haven't played 1944 yet, but have had one game on Pilsen. I noticed the bases were in the north-west and south-east corners instead of just right in the north and south. I'm a little confused at this, seems it would make more sense if the spawns were aligned with the middle of the map and not in the corners. Other than that the map seems pretty good, looks like it'll be good for most classes.

On Pilsen, move the spawns to the north and south. The map is clearly designed around those areas.

Agree, It is a mini meta of Erlenburg and we all know how campy it is, was hoping both would be in the Town like PC. Heavies/Slow fight in town, mobile can fight in the hills, In the Tog i got to first major building in South Spawn, went to move down a bit and didn't get to flag in time. Tog shouldn't be forced to fight in the hills (Erlenburg) because of spawn.

Or put them in the middle :)

The spawns on Pilsen are Horrific. And Redshire 1844 should replace the normal one and there is a reason why they changed the map on PC. I like mobile mediums but the game is getting into a corridor of Duty gameplay style. I wish we get the old map rotation back like on the Xbox 360 version

spawns and bases on pilsen are bad just put the spawns in the middel so you can play both sides what u can't do yet. and redshire in the heavy corner around e9/0 and f9/0 is buggy with stones and tanks getting invisible at some positions.

Another map dominated by a town. Thanks for nothing WoT. Why bother with spotting mechanics? Just another awful map.

 


We may live more boring lives than than those who lived in apocalyptic times, but being bored is greatly preferable to being prematurely dead because of someone's ideological fantasy.

The spawns or bases hasn't really presented a problem for me. Over all the Pilsen map is pretty cool, seems plenty of spots to get some protection and plenty for spotting stuff. Don't take me wrong I can understand some complaints but it is a new map for console. It will take some time to work things out...

I refer you to my previous post. Ravaged Capital, Icebound and now Pilsen, all within the last three months. Why bother with spotting mechanics? We might as well all get a Fatherland and just use that, considering the preponderance of city/town maps. With maps being constantly duplicated like Ensk, Ensk War!, Ensk Thunderstorm, Ensk Rain, Ensk Assault, Ensk Encounter etc, etc etc AD NAUSEUM. I am just fed up with maps that make spotting virtually redundant.

Had in about a 100 matches the last two days three times the Redshire 1944 map and so far zero times Pilsen.

I barely got to the town in the Tog but that's the way this map is meant to be played unless you go hull down by the hills.

But i agree that we need more open maps.

Not seen Redshire, saw Pilsen in Tog in first 90 minutes.

It took me three patches to see Liberty Falls for the first time.

I haven't seen the new pilsen Maybe ad just the spawns on Redshire 1944 To take advantage of that new structure to the west. I would say put one in the far southwest corner and ne and vice versa se and nw.... Could be fun.. Did you see your p.m. about black cat to Raibot Attention!!

I like Pilsen for the fact there are nice hiding spots from which you are able to ambush unsuspecting tanks coming down those choke points.

I love it but the detecting alert is a bit bugged.

I like Pilsen a lot actually, it's like someone grabbed Ensk by the corners and stretched it out, good map, just feels a bit anti-light with the base placement in the North being the top left corner while the reds are bottom right, the heavies rushed North and I couldn't do anything.
