So I'm grinding my way up this heavy line and is about to unlock the T32. I'm slowly getting used to playing heavies, and sort of gets the hull down playstyle thing. The T29 is pretty great with its top package.

The T32 though...it looks very much like a tough grind going up against tier 10's. I need all the advice possible! Gameplay wise, equipment anything is really appreciated to make the grind as smooth as possible!

I hated it compared to my T29. You have the same gun but tougher opponents. It got better toward the end as I was having better games with it. Tended to hang back more on Low ranked battles.

The M103 is a good goal as I am enjoying mine.

Thanks for the reply! Yeah I kinda figured this would be the bad one in the line... Guess it's going to be a long grind :/

T32 isn’t too bad.

400 base viewrange means Vents or optics are both good options.

here is what I like about T32,

good P/W ratio for heavy tanks. Can keep up with meds for flanking maneuver.

good turret armor (about 300mm thickness when hull down, can effectively block up to T9), good hull armor (can bounce T8 meds and light w/ angling.)

low profile, can use other tanks to cover T32’s hull in city fighting to achieve hull down.

decent ROF/ reload for 105. Oftentimes in 1v 1 against equal heavies, I can put two shots for their 1.

in a typical game I like to evaluate the enemy make up to see how many mids and lightly armor TD, then go to the flank Where those meds and light armor TD to take advantage of the armor superiority. I typically advance together with frendly meds due to favorable P/W ratio.

once in combat, 200 AP pen plus Vstab gives reasonable performance up to 200M. Often time, I like use the gun mantel plus hull down to bait shots, then return fire on my leasure during enemies reload.

in city CQC situation, sidescrape and finding cover (even if it means using friendly IS3 as hull down cover) is key for my survival.

ACPR also have enough Pen to go through most tanks frontally like  the checks of Mause, and the light bar on top of E100 in close distance.

A lot of people say using the 90mm and being generous with APCR is the way to go for the T32.

Cheese Loaded!

Thanks guys!

I am a medium tank player normally so adapting to running with the mediums might be the way to go. Not sure I can afford to spam ACPR with a 90mm though..might have to trust the 105.

I have some free XP laying around, is there a particular package or such in the line I should save them for?

If you like mediums, just play the t32 like a heavily armored medium. It worked for me. The only thing the t32 has against it is it's after the t29. It's a solid tank but does need a little APCR to shine.

each tier gets longer.

i used the 90mm on the T29, & the 105 on the T32.

Do what ever you can to get through it. Even use free xp it’s horrible. The t29 is great . The t32 has the same gun but see’s tier ten. The m103 with the top package is very good and the e5 is amazing.

at tier ten . The t32 is cannon fodder. Other tier 8’s do far better .  I.e tiger 2 the Russian is3 etc. The list goes on.

The gun is simply not that good for that tier.

T29 you need 1890 to 1 mark it

The T32 you need 1370.

That speaks volumes on how much better the T29 is.

The T32 is a good tank and extremely easy to play as long as u don't suck at the game. JUST GO HULL DOWN!!! Yes the pen isn't good but just carry plenty of APCR and u will be fine. Only the IS7 has a better turret. I've blocked over 8k in against tier 10s, like E100's shooting HEAT. You should be running Rammer, Vents and Verts!

Three marked it. One trick pony, hull down, face hug tall tanks with low gun depression, win. Use 105mm, don’t hesitate to press X,

^^^^ This ^^^^

Show nothing but a slightly wiggling turret that has red tracers coming out and this thing sings like an opera star.

This is the only tank I've ever played where I felt I had to bring some prammo. Since you are facing Tier 10 you just can't show up without it if you want to contribute. Standard AP will see you through vs T8 and below but above that the pen is inadequate.

I generally disliked it and found it a chore to grind. The 105 just feels lacking after the T29.

I enjoyed it a lot more with the 90mm and APCR (this is expensive). The alpha is lower but the reload and pen are good you have better DPM. I only did this until I two-marked it, then got rid ASAP. Once you have the gun sorted you appreciate the rest of the tank, the UFP can be surprisingly bouncy and it has great mobility.

I three marked mine and place in the top 25 in combined damage on PS4. You cannot play the T32 like a medium, you are way too slow. You need to learn how to angle your armor, but side scraping is also an option. Don't use the 90mm, you get better gun handling but lose penetration and the dpm difference is very negligible. If it isn't obvious to you on how to angle your UFP, when you're driving around a corner, make sure the direction of incoming fire hits the UFP at about 45 degrees, make sure that your tracks are behind cover while doing this. You can reliable bounce tier 8 guns but when you approach tier 9s and 10s it's better to have it richochet, or better yet don't expose yourself if you don't have to. I have a good demonstration here. If you encounter a fast tank do not charge and attempt to face hug them, because that allows them to get close and out flank you. Always keep your distance when fighting fast targets. Yes your turret armor is one of the best tier for tier in the game, no that does not mean sit in a comfortable spot the entire game. Use your turret armor when it is convenient, do not make the goal of your battle to be hull down.

If your willing to use prem go with the 90mm, otherwise use the 105 for its slightly higher base ap pen. Optics rammer vents. And play the hull down game. Crew perks ss, bia, repairs, snapshot, off road, situational awareness, and track mechanic. For basic perks
