How is this big ole stick of butter? I know it just got an armor buff. Loved the T1, but I feel that the T29 is a little too slow for me. Thinking the M6 with the 90mm could be fun...

It's okay. I feel like it's the one tank in the line that's not overpowered.

The T29 with the 90mm is better.

This is a tank that I never feared facing.  However when I drove it, it performs pretty well.  I would say its strength is its ability to be adaptable for most maps and tiers.  Its rarely in a situation where it cant be at least somewhat useful.

Due to N00b training have had to re-visit it. That 90mm can get some real work done and dispite issues with the crew (Buck Peters) I'm batting some very solid WN8 numbers

Going to try and 3 mark it

It's every bit as dominant as the T1, instead of hitting for 115 you hit for 225 plus!  It's a beast!  WN8 wise it's my highest ranked american heavy:great:

Got 3 stars on mine and still in my garage training crews.  When low tier I play it a bit like a German heavy hiding in the back like a TD and often top the XP list(camo, binocs, rammer).  When top tier you still need to protect that honking big ol hull(rammer, ventilation, stabilizer or camo).  Pay close attention to the terrain so that just your turret does the peeking.  Angling well can help you bounce lots of lower tier shells and push through a line.

In to the breach

My opinion is very similar to this. Nothing like a good bit of tier 10 pen on APCR if things ever get desperate.

Awesome! I love the T1, have it with rammer, optics, and spall liner (helps against the bush league low tier arty, but also great for ramming). Thinking I'll give the M6 a shot with the same equipment...

I only have one good American crew (like 13 or 14 skills/perks), I tend to just move them around to whatever particular tank I'm playing for a couple weeks (making sure they are at 100% training, of course). I like the idea of keeping the T1 for training a new crew, though.

tier for tier the T1 Heavy is one of the best heavies in the game.

I didn't feel the same way as the M6.

I'd rather be in a Vk36 personally.

Earned 3 marks of excellence within 57 battles.

This 90 mm is a beast even on tier 8.

Never feared it but on the same note never played it. I followed Nocturnal814 and Turbocliker’s suggestion to go through the Jumbo instead.

They recomended that you go to the T29 Via the Jumbo? So you had a T29 Completely stock?

Oh snap! And 2,300 damage doesn't really seem like that much with the 90mm at T6. Platoon sometime?

I knew going in that I would be stock. I had saved the appropriate amount of XP to get to the 90 with the upgraded turret. There was no trolling. Been playing with Nocturnal for a couple of years on other games before this one.

No, it doesn't.  If I remember correctly, I was already at about 99.95ish and that battle just did enough to get me to the 100%.  Sorry, but I don't think I even have it anymore.  That was a little while ago.

It has a fast firing gun with good pen.  Use the gun depression to your advantage.  If I remember correctly, it plays a little more like a slow medium than a true brawling heavy.  Although you can brawl when top tier of course.

The T29 is a tier higher.  Of course it is better.
