Yes, PG is great with the silver ops. I use my JT8.8 for that. I average 300,000 once all the silver ops are completed. It adds up

At these ranges, the Panzer Granate (they are referring to the PzGr. 39 APCBC ammunition) absolutely penetrated through the frontal armor, and usually still destroyed the engine at the rear of the T-34 tank. In 80 percent of the cases, shots from the same range hitting the side of the hull toward the rear of the tank resulted in the fuel tanks exploding. Even at ranges of 1,500 meters and longer, during favorable weather, it is possible to succeed in penetrating the T-34 with minimal expenditure of ammunition" (JENTZ, Thomas L.; Germany's TIGER Tanks - Tiger I and II: Combat Tactics; op. cit.).

I know. I am grinding the Mäuschen now, so I don't spend more than 30-40 mins farming silver in PG and WS.

Oh man, this one was actually kind of intense ^_^

 

This chapter seemed to be a lot more polished than the last one.

 

  • The AI was far more responsive to situations and I actually did not need to hold my teammates' hands.
  • The comic was much higher quality (was it even the same person as the last?).
  • The story was more engaging and did not feel thrown in at the last moment.
  • The maps were challenging and rewarding while being aesthetically pleasing.
  • The functioning light in the hurricane section was awesome. (can that become a multiplayer thing please?)

 

However, you still made us grind or use free exp to unlock the upgrades. Sad panda is sad :(

 

I do not know if you are planning to do any more of these but if they are like this chapter, I say go for it :)

 

This was polished and fun to play. I do not even like Lights and I had fun :great:

 

Well done, WG. I would say that this one was a strong finish to the current series. You had me worried with the last one but this one made up for it.

 

If this is the end of War Stories, then I want you to know that I enjoyed playing them. It was a nice little change of pace from Multiplayer and it had its charming moments. You should be proud of what you did with what was made from the ground up to be a multiplayer-oriented game.

I'm sure it is only the beginning, yeah was fun. I didn't waste my 12k free xp this time but had to rely on the AI in the first due to lack of ammo and can't pick up an ammo crate.

well the rewards are trash as per usual and on top of that on the last mission 3 of my ally tanks self destructed so yeah pretty smart ai's we've got right?

its was good fun, the spot light was nice! but the rewards was thinking of a nice way to put it complete crap

Now with 4 WS behind us we have 4 crews which can be transferred for free to TT tanks without losing xp...BUT these are 2 British and 2 American crews...that is nice, but I would like to have a crew with a free perk from non-major faction, like Chinese, Czech, Japan, Sweden (though it's too early for that)...I know it's not gonna happen, but at least a German crew would be nice...OP Sealion was supposed to be played in a role of German tanker ...It was a German Operation, not British....

This one ended up being my least favorite. First of all, you're given a light tank and expected to do a medium or heavy tank's job. Second, the map for mission 2 is a night map AND a weather map joined together in an unholy union. Third, the ammo capacity of the Bulldog is woefully inadequate for carrying your team, which is what you have to do since the friendly AI can't grasp that you're driving a support tank and they are the ones who need to be pushing at the front line. That's if they even help at all, since on my first attempt of mission 1 they bugged out and refused to leave spawn or follow commands. And you expect us to complete the missions without using ammo pickups under these conditions?

 

And then it takes over 10k xp to upgrade the 2506 to a less sluggish version? No thanks, I'll just mothball this thing. Not going to suffer through 10k xp worth of grinding on a tank that takes multiple retries for me to complete a single mission. The first and third redesigned maps were the only positive thing to come out of this campaign, they do look good. I don't see myself playing this campaign again after I make my second run on Challenge Mode, the others are much better for grinding.

why every time theres something added theres a glitch?restarted 2 times and still no tank in the garage for part 2 ugh

WG, you guys need to stop putting all resources into war stories... it's a lost cause.

1. It's extremely boring

2. Its WAY to easy

3. Only 2.50% of Xbox gamers completed all chapters of a story (pathetic)

4. Rewards are pathetic

5. Stop working on these maps and hurry up with the 9 maps you guys pulled from multiplayer.

Might want to change the filters . So multiplayer turns off when switching to WS . I was a couple times through thought " Where is this tank ? I need to put some supplies in it " playing the chapters , can't see the tank in the garage . Then I thought to reset the filters......:facepalm:

For some positivity; I really liked these missions.

 

I almost feel bad that I don't plan to play through these War Stories more than a few times, which is mostly due to typically playing with other people who want to grind out their vehicles and the relatively low rewards for each completion. Replayability aside, you can see the effort that was put in to making these missions more than just PvP maps with bots scattered about, what with the noticeable terrain alterations, the second map's darkness and the third's aesthetic setting completely changing being the big visual ones. Then there are the short alternate-history stories tied in which make it a little more interesting. And even the little spotlight attachment feature during the second mission which was a nice and unique addition, and I am curious to see where else this might be used in the future.
