The 105 is not a derp gun, unless something changed.

YOU'RE WRONG!!! It most definitely is a damn derp gun. And a barrel of laughs.  Reload is a tad long, but the crew isn't back at 100% yet.

No, to be a derp gun it would have to fire low-velocity shells with high arcing trajectories with very low accuracy.  It would need either a very low penetration AP shell or no AP shell at all.  Since it doesn't have any of those properties, it isn't a derp gun.

Why don't you knock it off with them negative waves? Why don't you dig how beautiful it is out here? Why don't you say something righteous and hopeful for a change?

Don't care. It's still a one shot wonder. Screw the book definition.

Not derpy in the kv-2 sense, it's derpy in the French high velocity sense.

105 mm french is not a derp gun. May be usueful to load few HE against lower tiers, but with 300+ alpha on AP and APCR is far more reliable than risking splash for 100 damage.

It my bathtub and I'll call it whatever I want :)

I know it's not a derp gun. Still fun though.

105 :justwait:

Used with rammer camo net and bincos it becomes a heavy killer, think baby death star. Hello KV-x

I bought this tank back for the last ranked tier V matches. This one is a keeper if you have the space.

When a person resorts to attacking the other person rather than focusing on the issue (aka argumentum ad hominem), it becomes pretty clear they have nothing else to contribute and are wrong.

I can see this. I've been buying back a lot of my old tanks that I liked lately as silver permits. 150 odd in the garage, 40 more spots to fill. This feller is feeling like a keeper so far.

Want to hear something crazy? It used to be better. When it was first released it had a 400 meter view range and was basically unkillable on open maps.

Wait. You mean WG actually tried to "balance" something.....

Nah, couldn't be. That's just an urban myth. You are obviously mis-remembering this.

For some odd reason I finally got around to French TD's.  Finished the nightmare called the SAu 40, thank you x3 xp ops.  Now the S35 CA has been a barrel of laughs so far. But now I'm at a dilemma. Which gun to stick with, the 17 pounder, or the 90mm. I'll research the 105 to save time on the ARL V39, but I'm not a derp gun guy.

Please tell me the ARL V39 is as much fun.

Actually I would just stop. The French TD line is garbage, the tier 9 is probably the best one and it's not all that great.

17pdr for the Dpm advantage at tier 5, the more you fire the better.

I always used whatever the biggest gun that was available to me. In that thing, you can 1 shot in tier mediums.

But beware of the first 2 shots, just burn them while driving. They notoriously always miss. Don't know why, but me and a friend with his have seen this happen quite often. It's like the gun barrel needs to warm up.

105, and the ARLv39 is an decently ok tank - limited gun arc (french paper armor), but upgraded it is good enough to get in decent x2's to get the get the job done. I was able to one mark it much before eliting it.
