Is this supposed to be a proper aspect of the game, that you can get completely immobilised?

Ruinberg winter in my WZ-132....dodging fire from the central ridge in the encounter game....weaving around i climbed the banked snow at the rear of the church and got stuck in that pocket against the church wall. No way out whatsoever....no traction on the snow/ice....spent minutes trying everything. Game over. Completely futile.

I had a similar thing happen on Highway.  Up at the corner town next to the rail road tracks / grain tanks?  Their is a cement load loading ramp right next to the tracks.  I was using an Excelsior and had four kills and was at full speed running along the tracks looking down the gun between building when I drove up onto the ramp.  The ramp was the same width as the under belly.  Their I was with one track on either side of the ramp; BEACHED for the last 6 minutes of the battle.  It came down to only me and two reds, they capped.   But we got the win because of more causing damage (I even got a High caliber).  Six minutes not going anywhere helpless.  At least when you flip over eventually you get to go again if your not killed.   I never go down those tracks anymore!

Had this happen a few times, it's easily done in light tanks. Most recently was also on Ruinberg on one of the snow mounds near the centre of the map. I ramped over one side and landed on top a Centurion in my Bulldog. Killed him, then got trapped between his carcass and the mound. I've also been stuck between the rocks on Kasserine.

Had this happen to me on several maps, as stated especially in light tanks. Unfortunately this is a aspect of the game and always has been. But I would guess that it would be possible in real life to get stuck in certain ways in a tank, but really does suck for it to happen in a game and just sit and wait to die,.

My time spent just sitting there beached,  waiting to die is actually one of the only real aspects of the game.  A lot of game players do not understand that no crew is going to fix a track or get a tank unstuck in the 15 minutes span of the battle.   And your not going to go outside your tank while the enemy is shooting at you either!  In real life you become a pill box just like in the movie FURY and wait to die.  Hell with an advanced crew and repair kits you hardly even slow down anymore.  Real life sucks and no one would play.

There's places like that on pretty much every map so it's either designed that way or not tested to a huge extent. Meh.
