Hey Tankers!

This mornings downtime was to address the following items:

Map Rotation...
Based on feedback, we have capped the maximum Battle Tier to Tier 8 for the following maps. They will no longer be available to play in Tier 9 and 10 battles.
Widepark
Widepark Rain
Pacific Island
Pacific Island - War
Liberty Falls

HMH: AMX 13 57
Based on feedback, we have increase the ammunition capacity from 56 to 72 rounds. Players will need to manually adjust their loadouts to take advantage of the larger ammunition capacity.

Server Restarts
We have changed the weekly Server restarts to take place every Tuesday @ 2am Central (08:00 UTC) for all severs and platforms.
Previously, each server was restarted on a different day and was different per platform.

Hang on  a minute.  The amx  13 57 has had its ammo capacity increased, how does this compare to other lights of the same tier?

Means it now can do more damage overall and now more in line with the others.

It has a max potential damage of 6480 now instead of the previous 5040. Which is a lot nicer. Overall the tank is pretty good. It's an assassin capable of dealing 720 damage per magazine. I have a clip on my xbox that I'll try and upload. It showcases the tanks capabilities fairly well.

 

Wish they had included mines in the list of maps capped to tier 8.

has it only got 90 alpha dmg?  If so what reason would any decent light tanker choose it over the Lycan?  (Or the amx chaffee, a tier lower)

Why can't you have therm all? I'm not going to get one (now i see that Chinese Prems and T-54 Mod 1 are for sale) until after it gets the non-HMH version. Why does it need to be better than everything else to be "worth" getting. I don't get that logic. 

Also. Yes Alpha is still very low at 90.

I thought wide park was fine at tens. I enjoyed it every time I played on it in my Type 5 and Kranvagn...

It doesn' need to be better than eveything else,  but 1 T7 premium light having 90 alpha dmg  whilst another gets 150 seems a bit harsh and not very appealing to me.

 

 

Edit. In all seriousness with the new invisible tds, why bother using a light lol.

You never know until you try it. One thing you will learn from watching others is it's made to set people on fire and watch them burn. even more if you put deadeye on it. That's my plan. 90 alpha doesn't sound fun at all to me either. but not that big of a deal with the fact it carries 8 rounds and will unload them all in 7 secs.

13 57 has better camo, 8 round magazine and faster reload. Plus the interclip reload is 1s

Please restrict Mines from tier 10 matchmaking too, it's literally won by the team that has a BatChat on their side, whichever team doesn't is doomed before the game even begins.

After tonight’s session:

19 games, 19 different maps. 17 were Standard battles with 1 each of TDM and Assault. If they tweaked the Map rotation with this update, they did well. That kind of rotation, coupled with the presence of more Standard and less Encounter helps with the redundancy of the same map within 4-5 games.
