How's it going everyone!

hope we all had a nice week and no one you know got trampled during Black Friday. But my question today is why does the tank I am driving take damage while I am crushing another tank from above? Cheers

i know every since the flip/sliding effects it changed, because before that if you were on top of an enemy ud just watch them die an backup move on.

I would assume from a programming stand point its a series of low speed collisions so follows ramming rules where the damage is distributed based on weight, skills, and equipment. I don't know if para training large health kits or enhanced suspension helps but I would assume they do not.

From a logical stand point... it is going to put stress on frame of your tank because most likely the belly of your tank will be riding on the other tanks cupola or turret rather than getting full normal support from its suspension. Most likely actual position is not taken into account and its just assumed the top tank is going to get some scrapes.

If you imagine you crushed the bottom tank its not going to go flat evenly... and would have some hard points poking up into the top tanks belly.

When a person resorts to attacking the other person rather than focusing on the issue (aka argumentum ad hominem), it becomes pretty clear they have nothing else to contribute and are wrong.

Not to mention ripping out the suspension/tracks.

If you want to be one of the 47 Ronin check out our recruitment post and then send a message to Prof935 (xbox) or dimka935 (ps4).

Because a tank would be damaged when landing on top of another tank.
