In my opinion powerfull light tanks influence the game too much allready. Their superior mobility combined with fast rate of fire and powerfull guns make life very difficult for innocent heavy tankers. I have also noticed one strange phenomena: the armour of some light tanks is (in paper) very thin, but in reality they seem to be able to bounce shots very effectively. For instance "Cromwell Berlin": just yesterday I was playing IS-2 and I shot a Cromwell Berlin to the side of its turret (from close distance) - and the shot bounced. And earlier I have shot a Cromwell Berlin with VK 100.01P (with the best gun that has over 200 mm penetration) to the bottom (the Cromwell had fallen) - and the shot bounced. So the light tanks are not only "OP" - there is also some bug that helps them perform better.

Yesterday i had a Lycan bounce a shot from my Borsig on its rear! Should've split him in half but it bounced! I too wonder if some lights have been 'blessed'!

If this patch is a total rebalance like on the pc, they will all be blessed with hilariously bad accuracy and dpm save the t71.

Partly agree with this, a good light tank driver can really ruin your game even when your in a (top tier) heavy... bring in tier X lights and (on paper) they seem OP as hell.
But... let's wait and see how the tanks perform before judging.
Need to get me one of those magic Cromwell B's because mine doesn't bounce anything
VK 100.01P... honestly I dislike that gun so much, can't remember how many bounces or complete misses I got on easy targets... but at the same time I can make the most impossible shots with it, like snapshot an IS3 from the front from halfway across the map ... performance is just to random for me.

I've bounced shots off the underside of different tanks from point blank range that should've taken the turret off on the way through. I think there's some inconsistent armour modelling which is becoming more obvious since the physics update.

Just a small point but the Cromwell Berlin isn't a Light tank but rather a Medium.

Even so, the 122mm from the IS-2 should shred a Cromwell. But the gods of rng are unforgiving sometimes!

It's so early to implement Tier10LT on CS version, comparing to new matching scheme which is already implemented on PC version. If matching scheme is just the same as yesterday and has not changed yet on CS version, it would be disastrous for players.
Have WG informed us about implementing new matching scheme in valid after update 4.2 ? If not you WG should comprehend how Tier10LT implementation work effectively with new M-M scheme , IMO.

So with tier 10 lights confirmed release tomorrow I have a question.
If we have the T49, RU 251, T-54 Lightweight, AMX 13 90, M41 Bulldog, or T71 in our garage when the tier 10 lights go live, what will happen to them? I ask because every one of those gets bumped up a tier except the T71 which gets split into two different vehicles.
Additional tack on questions for two different light tanks.
AMX Chaffee has +4 matchmaking right now at tier 6 and I saw (while tankopedia had the changed) that it saw up to tier 9. Does this mean it will have scout matchmaking or some kind of hybrid matchmaking?
The Snakebite currently has preferential scout matchmaking (can't be top tier but only sees up to tier 8) and I noticed earlier on tankopedia that it still saw up to tier 8. Does it's matchmaking stay the same or does it go to standard matchmaking?
There will be changes in the tech tree to allow the new introduction of the new Tier X lights

I'm very happy about this update!
But I'm still wondering how premium lights like the Lycan and AMX Chaffee will be handled, as the Lycan with +2 matchmaking will be borderline OP and would also be beating the crap out of the same tier lights.
