Ok so I know some people have had a chance to play the tier X lights.  I have enough energy to go down one light line at this time to the end.  What are your opinions on the best of these new lights?  Best is pretty subjective, so I guess what is the most effective tier X light would be the question?

I've already pulled my crew out of the German and put them back in the tier 9. It's very fast but on snow maps it bounces around like a rubber ball. Not to say it's bad but I can do better with the leopard and I find the Ru 251 more fun, especially now with its apcr.

I only have the Sheridan right now, but only played 3 battles in it last night so I have a limited opinion...it does accelerate very quickly and has very good traverse. I think I'm going to prefer the 105mm on it.

I was wondering about that too- love the 251 and hate to pull the light crew out of it!

251 is great, not looking forward to the 10 tho.

It carries no ammo, has horrible dpm, and has worse dispersion than the Sheridan with it's 152 (except during turret rotation)....  That all said I think the Sheridan is the best of them all, and all the other lights are underwhelming

I bought the Panzerwagen and it is a pile of garbage for reasons previously mentioned. It’s the overall gun performance that ruins it for me. Wasn’t the RU 251s top speed decreased? I think I will buy the Sheridan next and hope for the best. They have pretty much gutted the game for light tank players at this point.

I have been platooning with a friend and he has the Russian. Although he can make any tank look great, the Russian LT does look like fun. The Chinese would be worth a look to. The wz132 at t8 is still a hoot.

edit: as a side note. The German LT is rather large. It's like the tvp but without a decent gun

The Sheridan is probably the best simply because it's the best medium. The T-100 looks like it might be fun to play, but it still isn't that good.

They're all fun, t100 and rhm are my picks for best 2.

But of course we have these great snow dunes and physics paired up with barely any open maps left in rotation so I think a lot of people will be frustrated playing a lot of these lights

I'll end up getting the Sheridan first because i have T49 with about 149k exp on it. Logged on yesterday while trying to download the update using my hotspot, and found that I could research the T-50 and can buy it without playing anything below it first.

It's one definitely on my list, but I have a way to go given I'm only up to the LTTB. I have the WZ-132 and Ru 251 as well so I'll be going up those two LT lines as well. Not really interested in going up the French line....one journey through the 13 90 was enough for me.

And to think, this will be some people's fourth journey through the 13 90.

What sealed the deal for me is rolled the tank twice on icebound just going from one end of the map to the other. I'll try it again at another time.

That's the one I'm closest to.  I sold my T-54 ltwt after I unlocked the T-54 but just bought it back tonight.  It's as fun as ever so the grind to the T-100 should be pretty painless.  I'd forgotten how fun the T-54 ltwt is lol.

Next closest line for me is the Sheridan.  Even though I had it unlocked I never purchased the T-49.  I wasn't a fan of the guns compared to the Bulldog but I plan on giving it a go after I get the T-100 now that it has a decent "regular" gun.  Not really sure if the Sheridan will be that good but may as well give it a go.

I can't imagine. It's not like I entirely disliked the 13 90, but compared to the Ru 251, WZ-131 and the T49 it just wasn't as much fun.

Sheridan/132.  Are the ones you want. The others are cool but suffer from enormous crap balance and piss poor stats.

I'm going after the Russian and Chinese first. I'm loving the wz 132 and t54 ltwt. This is some of the most fun I've had with world of tanks in a long time!

Yes, but it gotta a HUGE horsepower buff so it's a lot punchier now.  You used to never top out on speed, now it cruises around the map comfortably at over 60 kph.  I didn't think it was bad before, but it's definitely a much nicer machine to drive now (the pen buff helps too).

Those snow drifts are ridiculous!  I almost rolled my T-54 ltwt a few times cruising around the otherwise flat open spaces on Icebound due to them.
