I have to hand it to you WG , I was all but done with this game. Even passed on the Thanksgiving %50 off premium time for the 1st time in 4 years. I was moving on.

This new tier 10 light update has really got my grinding addiction back up and running.

I really feel like I WANT to play again.

I know a lot if people are upset and put off by this update but I honesty believe its because the meta has changed ( and I think for the better ). Making lights more desirable has made the game a lot less campy and from my experience kind of balanced out the unbalanced arty effect.

To sum it up , I'm having a blast with lights now ! This will delay my moving on to other games for a good while now , lol.

Thanks for bringing me back to a game I love !

I have not played  yet since the update, but I have been hoping it cuts the camping out a bit and gets things moving, this is great news

I am good with so much of the update itself and my issues are not with that it is with how the update was or I should say not communicated and then how staff handled direct questions about that and the change in game mechanics. Part of being a consumer/customer is being informed so you can make decisions based on fact. In 53 years I have never seen a company other than maybe Enron or Coke with New Coke so take their customers understanding and use of their product so for granted as WG did with this update. So much positive in this update so overshadowed by a company wide communications fail. I hope they can do a proper Mea Culpa and correct these huge failures in their corporate to customer communications I really do because I so love this game it is truly painful for me to say the things above and have the feelings I currently have.

I agree , the communication with this update and the warning we had about it was abysmal.
The actual gameplay tho , I'm really enjoying tanks again .

Update was ok.  I don't like the loss of information about the detected change, but it's not a huge deal because I already have 6th sense on most of my tanks.  I also don't like many of the light tank changes, though some are ok.  But I quit playing many lights back when I heard they were going to get moved around, so it's become a moot point.

My main gripe now is the quality of the update is bad.  Glitches like the water loss and the stutter lag is seems like things didn't get enough testing time.

I haven't played the update yet, so my verdict is delayed. From what I've heard and based my initial conclusions off of, however, is that it was severely flawed. Besides "new" content, what made you like it so much?

You know , after 25k games on Xbox and 15k on PS4 I just got burn out , it was getting old and stale .After several 'breaks' I just got to the point that its was old and repetitive with no sign of change .

This update really changes the meta in my opinion. I'll also say from what I've seen it looks like there's a lot fewer arty playing now that they are faced with the possibility of 4-6 lights every match , lol.

To me it needed a new feel....and tier 10 lights give me that .

Yes its a drastic change , one everyone has opinions on, but let's be honest , what game has a meta that remains %100 static over 4+ years.

That's possible , yes , but for now its a good new feel.

I dont think it will go back to %100 normal tho but at least TO ME , its makes playing lights a lot more desirable .

Less camping is better for all of us. The games I was in on tier 8-9-10 were boring. No one moved at all it seemed.

Compare to the free for all that is tier 3-7, there you never know what the gravy train is going to happen
