Used to play on one of these, had some great games.  Might just have to get one.

This game needs More than a premium M3 Lee

I refuse to add one of those WN8 sigs as requested,   I have not played WoTc since  14th Dec 2020.   The new game is bad compared to the original,   I played a few games  on the 15th Dec 2020 and haven't played since.

If they release microprose gunship for it I'd snap one up I remember it well the 15 min load the 10-20 min mission then the 20 min reload for the debrief, I lost many an hour to that game.

On another note I still have my original chipped Xbox with a boat load of emulators such as the neo geo Amiga Atari st etc..etc.. Might dig it out and spend a couple of hours on it I still love lost patrol, and classics such as Gods and the chaos engine even ave the original populous on there. Also pretty sure my old Amiga 600 is at my dads in the loft complete with elite 2 plus some other goodies on good old 3.5 floppy.

Best 8 bit of all time! People are still making music with that SID sound chip today.

That's actually pretty slick. I'm enjoying these new mini retro consoles that keep popping out of course the C64 ought to be easier to grab ahold of than some of the Nintendo offerings have been.

Looks great, but they really need to put more games on it... the C64 had such a large library...

Archon
Bards Tale
Trolls & Tribulations
Mail Order Monsters
Spy vs Spy
Car Wars (Autoduel)
Any of the D&D games

And that's just the tip of the iceberg. Dang... the C64 had something like 2,000 games or more, and many of them were actually very good from a gameplay standpoint.

And yes, I'm sure many of these Have licensing issues, but come on, these were originally released over 30 years ago!!

I'd pick this up just for the Impossible Mission games.

These will sell out immediately just from music producers wanting SIDchip sounds. One of the best synthesizer IC's ever made.

Bop and rumble was a favourite of mine,  headbutting grannies never got old.:teethhappy:  Also the old ghost busters game was pretty good.

I still have my original Commodore64..  Cassette drive tape backup, disk drive, dot-matrix printer, and of course my RS-232 serial interface to hookup to my modem and jump on the BBS at a blazing speed of 2400 baud.

I'm sure we'll find out more later but I suspect it will be a SoC which runs a C64 emulator of some sort of which there are several and not using original chips. Though nostalgia alone will sell the hell out of them I suspect.

Yup, had one of those too.  There was an awesome WWII flight simulator on there that I wasted a lot of time on.  We were a fancypants family though because we had the external floppy drive  .  "Oh man, you can save like 160KB on here!"

My family got the c64 when I was 7. Huge influence on me since I consider myself a lifelong gamer of now 30 years starting from when this came home. I now work for a gaming company that may still hold licenses for games released on it.

This does have some classics on it but some of games I would love to see are missing.

ultimate wizard

All the windham classics

beach head 2

demon stalkers

international karate

knight games

etc...

Depending on price I may grab one. Somewhat surprised there is a market with all the emulators out there.

When a person resorts to attacking the other person rather than focusing on the issue (aka argumentum ad hominem), it becomes pretty clear they have nothing else to contribute and are wrong.
